We stayed at the cafe cabins for a long weekend. Cabin itself was nicely updated, clean and very well appointed. The food at the cafe was great (try the pizza!) and service was friendly and fantastic. Close to the beach and marina, perfect lake getaway!

If you are looking for food after being out on Lake Koocanusa, this is an excellent stop. The food is pretty good and as expected, the people are super nice. The lake is very pretty and close. There are hiking trails in the area.

OMG, this chicken fried steak was 12 inches long and 6 inches wide! Served with sausage gravy, two eggs and a biscuit. For $10. Enough for two people. They also have a pizza made with ranch dressing, sauerkraut and sausage - it is to die for! And we hear they make a fab prime rib, and halibut fish and chips.

The restaurant met our needs, not fancy, but owner did her best to ensure needs were met. It's not a four or five star option, but we were served pretty good food. It's a nice a nice option if you don't want to hang out in a bar (quite a few families) or drive some distance. Younger waitresses iffy. We... More

Their prime rib has to be the best by far... Their portions are just right and they make it to perfection. We went for dinner for valentines and the place was packed yet we were well taken care of and the food was awesome!

Then there is the German Chocolate Cheese Cake.......I always take it home and have it for breakfast the next day! The atmosphere is warm, cozy and... More
