Recommended by Don Chevorlet, we enjoyed a buffalo lunch. The atmosphere fit the name and the food was delicious. The service was great and the menu sufficient. The cafe is worth the stop.

My wife and I travel extensively, and are always looking for local spots with great food, good service and a feel of authenticity. We were VERY pleased on all counts with our breakfast visit to the Buffalo Cafe! The place was packed with locals, but the friendly, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Lots of imaginative menu choices... More

The Buffalo is an icon in Whitefish, been there forever. The food is excellent, although I must admit to only having breakfast there on the way to skiing. Best breakfast menu ever.

Not often do you order a sandwich and find a meal-worthy gourmet salad served as the side dish! The salad was fresh and jand constructed of spring greens and veggies obviiusly not a bagged mix! And the chicken pesto sandwich was full of flavor.

I stopped at the Buffalo Cafe twice when in Whitefish Montana. The first and the last mornings in town. It is cozy and inviting. I had the Denver omelet with hashbrowns both times and both were good! The coffee was also good. No complaints. Prices were reasonable and in line with expectations. The service was also prompt and attentive. Next... More

My son and I were in Whitefish for a late spring visit of Glacier National Park. If you stay in Whitefish, the Buffalo Cafe and Nightly Grill is a must visit. Dress casual, walk to the restaurant, and enjoy yourself. The food is fairly basic, but prepared deliciously! Everything was VERY TASTY!

Went for breakfast last Sunday. Service was prompt and friendly. Extensive and interesting choices for breakfast. Portions were large and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely return.

Pretty good food, and good service. My wife and I split a steak that was cooked well. My brother in-law and his girlfriend had burgers hat we're good. BIL strongly recommends the craft beer.

This is an excellent choice for a casual dinner with craft beer. Sandwiches, burgers, salads - pretty standard fare but well prepared and very generous portions. The cafe has a good selection of locals beers on tap.

Thank SKoll
