Joe's has had to adapt to takeout only since the pandemic came along. We were headed back to the city and stopped to order 2 - dinner for one. The containers came out hot and stuffed. We didn't eat right away but drove to Central Butte and stopped to eat at the nice little campground there. We opened the take out packages and couldn't believe our eyes. They were so stuffed that we only ate about half our meals. The food was still hot and it all was so tasty. This restaurant is our favourite for Chinese cuisine. Even better than in Saskatoon. The dinner for one was chicken balls, shrimp, vegetables, fried rice and their homemade pink sauce. This sauce is so delicious, in that, you think they sent too much and then you wish they had sent more. :) So if you are on Hwy #1, make an effort to support the local businesses along the way and stop in at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Visiting our son in Morse. Ordered Chinese take out from Joe's. What a gem of a place. Food was quite good. Price was excellent. Vegetables in Chop Suey were excellent. Restaurant accommodated diet restrictions (i.e., no onions) No MSG's . Felt great afterwards ...so this truly meant no MSG's. Unfortunately still using styrofoam. Joe's restaurant please consider environmentally appropriate packaging. Staff was great!

Good food at decent prices

Last year, we missed by two weeks getting to see what the new owners did to the old place. Made sure we got to it this year. Big surprise. With the interior nicely refreshed, I was surprised with the menu. Two pages - one was for Chinese food which I did not bother to look at. The other was Canadian food. What a wide variety of choices for a small town cafe! And the low prices were a big surprise. Wish we had some restaurants like that in the city. The food was excellent and the owners very friendly. They choose to live in a small town, and I am sure the people of the town are glad they did.

Small Town Amazing

We went to Morse to check out the the restaurant that had re-opened under new management that we had heard so much about. Upon entering it was nice & clean & bright. The reno’s they did were more modern & up to date. The food was amazing & very delicious!! They had no problem catering to our no gluten restrictions. We had chicken fried rice & I was so surprised to see no grease on the plate when we were done. And the chicken & almond veggie dish was out of this world!! So if you are traveling up or down the #1 highway in Saskatchewan be sure to stop in & see this young couple & they will feed you some scrumptious food!!

Small town asian food can be hit or miss, but so far this little gem started by a young family is great. We first tried the restaurant 4 days after it opened. We were very happy that the local residents went out of their way to support this establishment. The food was so tasty and clearly home made. The battered shrimp did not have a thick batter and it was a nice balance. They dipped the shrimp themselves. We had ordered a dinner for two and ate nearly every bite. Couldn't stop ourselves. I commented that the homemade sauce looked like too much, but we practically licked the bowl. We tried the place again when there was a buffet set up for supper. Nice selection and again, not greasy, tasty and in many ways better than we have had in Saskatoon and that is saying something. When you are on HWY #1, add this to you GPS as a place to stop for food. Not open Mondays.
