From specialty breads, yummy pastries, to local vendor’s goodies………this is a must visit! Thank you Richard for taking some of the goods we grow from the local farms, including them in weekly specials, and sharing your creativity in the kitchen. Tracey Martin

Well, there is bread and then there is BREAD! The Good Bread Company in Vittoria makes BREAD that is of great quality, delicious and healthy for your body. Truly amazing homemade taste WITHOUT all the additives, chemicals, preservatives and unknown ingredients used in most breads...available in almost all other places where you purchase bread. It was a real awakening to learn what goes in to each loaf and what doesn't. The latest offering is Light Rye and Sourdough with walnuts and what can I say but WOW. We ate the whole loaf in two days. Added note, they have lots of other baked goods and products including old fashion granola that is so much better than what is out there. Heads up: better to order a head of time or you likely will find they have all sold out.More

Like the name suggests. The bread is excellent. The service is equally great. The facility we visited is in Paris, Ontario inside the Market.

Learned about Vittoria and the Good Bread Company through the show Still Standing. Drove one and a half hours to visit and bought way more than just a "loaf of bread"!!! Great food and friendly people who served us.

Go hear at least once per week. Garlic and potato loaf, sourdough, farmers loaf and my personal favourite, the baguette’s. There are many varieties to numerous to mention. You can phone and place an order. They will slice the bread for you while you wait....Don’t get there at noon expecting a full selection still to be there. Some items sell out. This place is now our once a week guilty pleasure.More

We just love the Good Bread Company and their products. Today we are picking up Cranberry Pecan and Farmer's loaves although if there is a bread stcik or cinnamon bun avaible, we will probably end up with one of those as well. I still struggle...to decide whether the owner is a Baker or Master of Temptation :)More

We heard that Johny Harris was going to do a show there on Still Standing show so we decided to drop by and see the town. Nice to se a hidden gem in this small town that used to be a prosperous tobacco farming country....Lots of bread to choose frm if you come me early or order ahead of time including dill pickle bread. Gluten free bread options.More

Rick offers a large variety of artisanal breads and other baked goods. My favourites are the raisin, buttermilk, sourdough, and farmers breads. When available, try the pickle demi baguettes. Fantastic with cheeses and cold cuts. The buttermilk buns are great as hamburger buns. Get there...by noon for best selection. My favourite fresh bread place. Definitely worth the drive to Vittoria.More

Fabulous bread with fabulous choices. The crusty light rye is a great everyday sandwich bread. Love the cranberry/pecan loaf for a treat and to-day tried the Indian Summer Multiseed - that is a WOW! Also tried the Not Cross Buns to-day (no, not a spelling...error - that is their name!). Absolutely fabulous - great flavour and lots of fruit. If you like good bread and you appreciate the work that goes into this bread making, you will realize that the prices charged are not over the top. Compare it with your supermarket bread which will cost almost as much and be nowhere near as good. Obviously by the customers comments in the shop, the dill pickle bread and the onion bread are also winners. Looking forward to trying them on a future visit. Also great fruitcake, old fashioned cookies and tarts and turnovers. Well worth a sidetrip to Vittoria.More

They guy who owns this is passionate about artisian bread and offers a wide selection of interesting bread flavours, including pickle bread. If you are on his email, list he sends weekly up dates with the flavours offered. You can also buy his bread at...the Friday afternoon summer martket on the pier at Port Rowan. One of my personal favourites was the walnut date/prune bread. Loaves are a bit expensive, but really worth the money and I see it as a lovely treat.More
