Excellent service thank you despite it being very busy. We had a very good evening meal as usual. Thank you. We will be back again.

I had a delicious celeriac soup for starters, with a generous portion of bread; it was a shame that the one veggie main course option was potato gnocchi (again), so I improvised and had the roast pumpkin salad from the starters with a couple of...More

Called in for a light snack and had the brie and bacon sandwich which was fine. The beers were very good.

This is a very friendly, cosy country pub with a good restaurant. We stayed in the rooms for several nights and they made us feel right at home. I sat in the lounge in front of the fire and enjoyed a very pleasant pint of...More

Handily located just off the A37 between Yeovil and Bristol. Dropped in for a late Sunday lunch and was impressed by the warmth of welcome and the speedy service. Roast beef with trimmings was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Looked a very well run pub.

Looking at some of the comments, I was a little worried about taking my family here for Sunday Lunch. I shouldn't have been as the meal was lovely and plentiful. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. I would certainly go again.
