Been coming here over the years for breakfast and dinner as food has always been pretty good. No health food, other than a salad, but pretty consistant. It's right in downtown area and not pretentious.
Have frequented this locals casino since relocating to Henderson in 1993. Their breakfast special (11pm-7am) was a whopping $.99 AND featured a full breakfast (eggs, meat, potatoes) and this humungous bowl of biscuits and gravy. What was always a treat was having breakfast or dinner...More
Our family has been going there for over 30 years. Now that they closed their breakfast time. Raised their food prices and no longer have “SPECIALS” it’s pointless for us to go there and spend our money. Guess we’re wanting to stay local so perhaps...More
This place is the real deal! Lots of locals having family dinners and/or celebrating special occasions.
The staff is great. Sandra helped us with the menu and took excellent care of us. I ordered the thick cut prime rib ($12) which comes with a huge...More
We’d had this recommended, people in Boulder City travel for their omelettes. Interesting place, proper old school casino but if you can push past the smoke and more mature gamblers to the back and the diner, you’ll not be disappointed. The wait staff were excellent...More
There are three little casinos in the area. This one Emerald Isle and The Eldorado. This is the one we liked the least though it was clean the employees were not as friendly as the other two places and the selection of machines seemed more...More
Although the Rainbow isn't my favorite place to play pennies (I say that because it's very smoky and their selection is a little limited), you have GOT to eat the Rainbow Club cafe! You won't believe their prices! And wait until you see what you...More
My husband and I love this place. We are locals and have become regulars on weekends. Kevin the bartender is great. Always makes sure our glasses are full while we are gambling. There is always a wait. They have great specials every night. Saturday is...More
this was our second time visiting, we had been there in May 2017.
at first i was impressed because the decor reminded me of two casinos in Reno. the chairs are very comfortable and the casino well lit and pretty. BUT......the customer service is terrible....More
Rainbow Club is a must visit when we return to Vegas area. I had an outstanding T-Bone for $9, baked Potato, and salad, Mother and wife had extremely large Shrimp dinner for $9. My sister got Prime Rib for $12. We all tasted around. The...More

Typical coffee shop/diner menu but because casinos want you to gamble, food, good food value, is a loss leader for their primary business - gaming. So, no, casino dining is NOT kid-friendly, especially older casinos like Rainbow with poor ventilation systems. The high end resorts on the LV Strip are great examples of how newer casinos have overcome smoke-filled bingo rooms and rows of cloudy video poker with grand ceilings, open space, retail and (pricey) restaurants. Short answer - great breakfasts, sandwiches, meal specials like their very decent prime rib but beware of peak meal hours.
