...walking through the restaurant seems confusing - people coming at you from every direction. Used patio seating - that was excellent, but the walk-by crowd obstructs the view.

Nice atmosphere... 2 fireplaces make it nice. Food was very well prepared and very fresh. Had the trout and it was delicious. Reservations are definitely needed.

Agree with previous comments: Smart casual is a good description, certainly avoiding shorts and flipflops, but I doubt that you'd be turned away regardless, especially in the bar area or in the dining room at lunchtime... More
