We had not been to the Buffet since it Bellagio first opened and I had fondly remembered the amazing hot dishes and berries as big as my thumb. For our $49 Friday lunch (less expensive during the week Mon - Thurs), there was an assortment...of breakfast food including made to order omelets and pastries, but also a good Asian section a variety of dumplings (4 or 5 including shrimp, pork), delicious carved meats such as roast beef and turkey, oysters Rockefeller, peel and eat shrimp, vegetables, and for desserts, small slices of cake (chocolate and a not very good looking carrot cake), mousse kinds of desserts, and macaroons. There was a nice selection of hot teas, coffee, and variety of sodas/instant teas (in the touchscreen kind of soda fountain). Although I enjoyed the dumplings and shrimp and my husband thought the carved meats were more flavorful than on on Celebrity cruise buffets, I thought the Wicked Spoon buffet at Cosmopolitan was nicer with more variety and cute little servings in small dishes/pans. The atmosphere was a garden café theme, I think it could use a refresh after all these years since it felt dated and tired and not in keeping with the elegance of Bellagio.More
