This was my second visit to this restaurant in Las Vegas, my prior visit being 6 years ago. It speaks for itself that after all this time the restaurant is still there because in this city if you're no good you get replaced. Food still to a high standard with a nice authentic Italian flair to the food keeping it... More

Am I in Vegas? At 5:54 the light change and night time in Venice begins for an amazing dining atmosphere. And do not get me started on the staff. So wonderful and attentive with personal suggestions.

Nice location on St Mark's square in the Venetian/Palazzo. The food is rather expensive, the service is OK. But their pizza Margherita could certainly be improved...

One night in Vegas as we were passing through and needed a place to stay; we did the obligatory walk of The Strip - overflowing with a teeming mass of people who don't seem to know why they came to this city. We strolled down to the Venetian and walked the halls of this vast place and the faux canals... More

Four of us had a lengthy walk through the shops at the Venetian, and eventually found what we were looking for: Canaletto. We were there after 9:00 p.m. so the mall traffic was almost over - and that made for a peaceful, pleasant dinner experience. The risotto with shrimp and artichokes was excellent, as were the lamb chops. Our waiter... More

Stumbled upon this gem whilst looking for a post-conference nosh. What a great experience. From the greeting to the apps to the mains and deserts (ohhhh...the deserts) it was a gastro-event worthy of every second we spent there. Service was stellar and the food equal to the fine little bistros in Italy. Wine selection was comfortable for any price point... More

During your meal at Canaletto, it's hard to believe that you in Las Vegas. You feel like you are truly in Venice. We have dined here many times and are never disappointed. If you're at the Venetian, I recommend stopping here.

My wife and are have dined in many locations around the world and certainly expected better from this Il Fornaio location at the Venetian Hotel here in our hometown of Las Vegas. Canaletto was disappointing. The service was at best average and the food was really less than average for Italian in Las Vegas. The pizza was awful. There are... More

Five of us went to dinner at Canaletto. We sat "outside." This is very nice under a dome with blue sky and clouds. Like the dome over the Hunger Games, if you look closely you can see its not real sky. We had a variety of dishes including chicken, gnoochi, seafood pasta, and zuppa de pesce. The consensus of the... More
