We were starving as we just came off a 4.5 hour flight and kids were hungry for 'real' food. This place was recommended as a place locals eat at. Large portions, high quality and reasonable pricing. It hit on all points. Professional and friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent food that is fresh made, no nonsense and no short cuts type... More

A little far from the Strip but worth the trip if some down home cooking is what you're in the mood for. Great selections, great food, great prices.

We have family in Vegas, and visit quite often. We make it a point to always have at least one breakfast at Black Bear, and are never disappointed. Sometimes due to the customer number, it takes a while to get the food, but well worth the wait & the coffee is so good, you don't even notice. I definitely recommend.

Super casual diner off the strip. We ate breakfast here twice during our recent stay. Good service and coffee. We enjoyed everything that we ordered but hubby particularly like the sweet cream pancakes and the thick sliced bacon while I am love with the huge, tender biscuits. I should've ordered some to bring back home!

The Clam chowder to start was excellent- as good as New England I had their fish tacos. They were OK, very Mexican with re fried beans that I didn't care for. The fish was OK and the Cole slaw good.

I was a very long time fan of this restaurant. The food was always excellent, portions very large and great value for your $$$$$. Had relatives in town today and we met at the Black Bear. Everyone had usual breakfast stuff. However, I had a bacon/cheese hamburger. I must say I was pretty SHOCKED to see that the usual strips... More

Yes, this is a chain. Yes, there are more exotic places to eat in Las Vegas. Yes, the decor is a little "unbearable." Who cares? This is a local favorite that I am drawn to EVERY. DARN. TIME. I. COME. TO. LAS. VEGAS. The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and the staff is always warm and friendly. They... More

I went on Veterans Day and my meal was free for being a Vet. Thank you Black Bear Diner! I did not see this advertised. Nice surprise! I had an omelet loaded with cheese, ham, sausage and bacon, hash browns and toast. My wife had a nice salad and Turkey Sandwich. I saw other diners eating a very nice looking... More

The Black Bear Diner is a short cab ride from the strip but I'm so glad we made the effort to go. It has a very cool vibe, like we were in a diner in the mountains and the menus and decor is very cool! the portion sizes are HUGE and utterly delicious. The French cinnamon roll is next level!!... Every time we visit Vegas we always have breakfast here as the food and the service is great, the resturant surrounding are so old fashioned and comfortable.
