We found this place by chance just walking around the California. Okay it was really good. Their spam masubi was delicious! We also had the saiman. Oh so delcious. The employees were really friendly and the place is immaculate. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but that is because everything was prepared fresh. We loved... More

I have always stopped in this place whenever I come to Las Vegas. But on this occasion the service was just terrible. If it was not for the food being local (Hawaiians) I would not even stay for this place. They definitely need to hire more staff for this place.

Have lived in Las Vegas since 1996 and being born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii I know a little something about local cuisine and this dependable spot on the second floor in California Hotel is the ONLY Hawaiian restaurant we frequent in town. Food has always been spot on and although service is a quick hi and dropping off of... More

Once a year I cost Vegas and have at least one meal here. The mixed meat combo was okay and Saimin was good. Portions continue to be large. If you like rice you'll love the place. The remodeling was much needed and looks good. The flow of the restaurant is much better. Service is the same with a family feel.... More

The remodeled restaurant is nice and luckily the food tastes just as good and the menu didn't change. I've been getting the Portuguese sausage, rice and eggs (and always with the side of Kim chee.) if you are going there to eat and have to park, get your receipt from gate guard and you can get reimbursed with your restaurant... Came here with the family for dinner and was not as impressed as I wanted to be. It took a while to order as the line was out the restaurant but we got to see a lot of things other people were eating before deciding what to order. We opted for a variety of things, saimin noodles, teriyaki chicken and... More

Not bad, but not great. If you are carb hungry then you should come here. A lot of rice and mac n cheese. Very nice people work here. I guess Hawaiian food is not my choice for types of cuisine.

Thank Michael D
