Very good service and presentation. The decor is very culturally inspired and elaborate but does not overwhelm. Food was very good. Ladies they are very good about protecting our handbags and the hostesses were sweet.

Two couples for dinner. We started with the appetizer sampler and the peking salad, and proceeded with the scallops, prawns, 3-cup sea bass and the green beans. The appetizers were beautiful, varied, and delicious. The peking salad was well dressed and the duck slices were,...of course, delicious. Of the main dishes, the peppercorn prawns were amazing and so was the sea bass. The scallops were a bit underwhelming and the green beans for $26 was just a small(ish) serving of just green beans -- lacking much saucing, spices or anything else that would make this dish different then a $2 green beans. I expected a bit more. The deserts were EXCELLENT. Seriously. Try the Hajicha mousse. The mixed drinks were overpriced. This is Vegas -- drinks will be overpriced. Not a problem, just be aware of it. So, is it worth it? The well-appointed higher-end atmosphere, the impeccable service, location at the Wynn, and the mostly excellent and tasty dinner... Yes, it's worth it. There are not that many Michelin-starred Chinese restaurants and this one did not disappoint.More
Food: - Appetizers: Garden Dimsum is a and edible masterpiece - Entrée/main dishes: Sishuan beef short rib is to die for. So soft melts in your mouth. Cantonese chow mein is very light and tasty. The general Tao’s chicken excellent. - Desserts: the complementary small...bites were sufficient for a sweet taste at the end of a full meal Drinks: the cocktails are unique and delicious; we tried the year of the rabbit, the seven sages, dragon King and Jace Emperor….. all good. The tea: good selection for after dinner digestive. The problem is the servings: they brought the tea pot with the loose leave sachet inside. They pour the first glass with the required steeped time, but they leave the sachet inside to continue steeping which of-course destroy the taste…. Bitter, so I recommend ask the service to immediately remove the sachet after the first steep required time. The Pu-erh is of very good quality. Just be aware of the very high caffeine content about 60-80mg for each 8ounce first steep serving. Service: during the very busy season and time, attentiveness will be compromised, so you have to ask for help when needed …. Such as more drinks and else. Ambience/atmosphere: Small place (relatively), with large groups especially during events in Vegas, become very loud, otherwise it is always a very nice luxury style dining experience. Value: Very reasonably priced (not cheap thought) for the highest quality and best taste of high end Chinese food Overall rating! 4 for service , 5 for food Recommendations: Highly recommended, a must stop for first time visitors. It is a must stop for us every time we visit Vegas.More
Outstanding service - ok food - painful prices. Was craving Chinese and willing to pay for the best - the food was decent but not life changing -. Cantonese chow main 6/10 Beef rib 8.5/10 Hot and sour soup 7.5 /10 Sweet and sour pork...8/10 Comp desserts — priceless !!More
This was our first time at the restaurant. We did the 5:30 seating, so when we showed up, the place was pretty much empty. However, within 45 minutes it was totally packed. FOOD This is great Chinese food. Everything tastes fresh and is exploding with...flavor. You got your Chinese classics like General Tao, sweet and sour pork, fried rice etc. as well as the more upscale stuff like a whole peking duck that they carve in front of you, wagyu beef, caviar dishes etc. The food won’t disappoint. If you like Chinese food, you won’t go home hungry. RESTAURANT The place looks great. It feels like you’ve been transported to a different environment. It’s very clean and the decor looks authentic, the staff looks very put together, the silverware, chopsticks and plates are all very nice and unique. SERVICE It’s a Michellin star restaurant so the service matches that. You get new plates and silverware with every course, the staff is extremely professional and pleasant. They explain each dish as it’s brought to you and they include a few items that are ‘compliments’ from the kitchen. CONCLUSION It’s a great place to visit whether you live in Vegas or just visiting. The food is great and the service as well. Highly recommendMore
Last time we were disappointed by this place, but I have to say that this time everything was perfect. I like the superb settings, very Asian, the service which is efficient and friendly, and the peoples going t this place. Prices are high even for...Vegas, but we know it before going there.More
We had an amazing experience at Wing Lei. Our server Herman and his assistants are so pleasant and professional. We celebrated our 20th anniversary. Herman made excellent recommendations, and encouraged us to try a variety of items instead of the tasting menu which we were...considering. This less expensive option allowed us to try a variety of appetizers and entrées, all of which were very different! Our meal started with a complementary chrysanthemum tea, followed by a pomegranate jelly amouse bouche. We enjoyed the seasonal cocktails. The quality of our meal was like nothing else we’ve ever experienced and the timing of courses was impeccable. Herman surprised us with several complimentary desserts to celebrate our special day. It was a great experience!More
We made reservations to celebrate our Anniversary and the service & environment at this restaurant did not disappoint , from the moment we arrived the service was impeccable . We selected a great bottle of wine and decided on the sampler , the Alaskan King...Crab Salad and Ribs were fantastic , the Shrimp Toast was a bit tough and greasy . For dinner we had the American Wagyu Beef , General Tsao Chicken and the Vegetable Fried Rice , the Beef was a bit fatty but the Chicken was the best we've had , the Rice was very good as well . For our Anniversary , they bought us a delicious piece of cake and a selection of bite size desserts , all extremely good . The overall price was reasonable and less than we expected , would definitely recommend and return .More
What else more can be said that hasn't already been said. The ambiance was beautiful, the staff was overly obsequious, and the food was divine. Had the garlic shrimp spring rolls and the black truffle scallops. They brought the most yummy petite fours for dessert,...too. Everything was perfect.More
My partner and I make it a tradition when travelling to dine at a Michelin Star restaurant and order the tasting menu with wine pairings. Wing Lei offered a choice of the Signature Autumn Dinner for $US 179 plus $US 99 for pairings per person...or the Imperial Duck Tasting menu for $US 130 plus $US 79 for pairings per person. While I wanted the former and my dining companion wanted the latter, the options are for whole table only, so we ordered the Autumn Signature menu for both. The dining room is elegant and the goldware cutlery was stunning. I appreciated that dress code was reinforced by email beforehand and abided by most guests. There were no loud tables or inappropriate behaviour, thankfully. This is not something you can take for granted in Las Vegas, even in the best restaurants. The waitstaff were attentive but not overbearing. Timing was right on point. Every course was served piping hot and the sommelier was proactive with pourings and explanations. The ambiance could have been improved with dimmer lighting as the brightness detracted from any intimacy. Of the 5 courses, the hands-down favourite was the Braised Prime Short-rib with yam puree, shimije mushrooms and 5-spice soy glaze. It was so tender, we ate it with chopsticks. The Poached Maine Lobster with autumn vegetables and the Truffle Soup Dumpling were also delicious. The first course was Alaskan King Crab & Sturgeon Caviar which we found be bland. The cold egg white texture was off-putting, strange and unpalatable. The dessert and hand-made chocolates we were sent home with were absolutely decadent. Overall, this was a special experience but I felt that the tasting menu played it safe. For $700, I expected to try something truly unusual or have at least one dish that exploded with flavour. While there was nothing wrong with it, I feel like it should have been more memorable to be of that value.More
We have eaten at many Michelin restaurants but very excited to try our first Asian cuisine one. It did not disappoint. Simple dishes elevated and some very complex flavors and pairings. All cooked to perfection, but without being overpowering as some restaurants with Asian spices....The atmosphere with the gardens just outside were a very relaxing view. The staff was amazingly attentive but not obtrusive. We enjoyed the whole evening immensely.More
Service was superb, food was faultless. Disappointed that the 'dress code' was only applied to some of the guests, it seems others can wear what ever they wish.
This is probably the fanciest place I've dined at for someone who doesn't do this much. Service was exceptional with everyone serving being so helpful. Tried the recommended Imperial Peking Duck carved right beside the table and it was delicious. Also tried the sampler which...was also delicious. Was treated with several unexpected desserts, all so tasty. It was an excellent experience is Las Vegas and I would gladly go again.More
First Chinese restaurant in North America to have a micheline star, five star award Forbes and an impeccable service, cuisine and decoration. Their Imperial Peckin Duck is just extraordinary, and in every single one of their dishes you could feel an explosion of Cantonese, Shanghai...& Szechuan flavors.More
We have enjoyed several dinners here over the years and last evening's food/service only gets better each time. Do take time to try several appetizers - they are all delicious (garden dim sum) and will prepare your of the courses to follow. It is a...beautiful environment and the staff is extremely careful and caring. Do plan ahead with reservations. And do plan to receive a great evening event. We continue to highly recommend Wing Lei.More
