Location is in old industrial n'hood, fenced and gives impression u dont want to be there too late. Look past that ... its worth the trip. We had the pork with dumplings, sauerkraut and dumplings. I had a couple beers and bought two pastries to go ... $34. Not cheap but reasonable. Look around this place, its old, might have... More

Very dated, with an annoying bell that rings when you step on a sensor by the hostess stand, plastic flowers and kitch galore, this old restaurant is decorated to appeal to their "regulars," but the food should appeal to everyone. The plates are very worn (cafeteria-like) with cheap utensils, but I would eat there again because the food is really... More

I love to stop by and pick-up the homemade Bavarian pastries, but am always just a little disappointed at the interior of their building. Could use a good cleaning and some updating.

The beer and the desert were good. The main meal was mediocre at best. Why pay $20 for tiny little plate of bland food and frozen vegetables. Suggest they up their taste or reduce their price. I am a person who would normally give a restaurant at least a second chance, but I can't in good conscience do that for here.

We had Wienerschnitzel with soup and salad and a pilsner beer from Czechoslovakia. The Brussels sprouts soup was good, the salad had a good vinaigrette dressing. The Wiener schnitzel was very good. Service was good. We bought dessert to go in the adjoining store. It was honeycomb and was super good. It was a treat in a traditional German setting.

My husband is German (both parents from Germany) and he knows his German food. We found this place by accident when we drove by it, and decided we had to try it. We were so glad we did. The potato and cabbage soup was fantastic (although I cannot recommend the salad and will not order it again), and the Rouladen... More

I recently drove by Bavarian World and decided that I must stop by sometime. Well, I finally made it and I went two days in a row! I first bought some knackwurst, red krout, pretzel buns, and some danish. I wasn't disappointed with the quality or the taste of all of my choices. I went back the next day for... More

Something Bavarian, tasty, and with a homely atmosphere. We heard about it being a good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So we went there for breakfast and another day for lunch. Both times were satisfying.

You really can't find better german food than what you find here. Excellent schnitzels and great sauerbraten. They have a wonderful bakery too. Pastries that make you want to toss the diet out the window. And yes, you can have good german beer with your meal although the choices are a bit limited. The service can be a tad slow... More

Restaurant is nice. There are some fun displays of German stuff. I was there for lunch and had veal links, potatoes, and red cabbage....good, not great. There was one server for the whole restaurant. Poor guy was running all over the place. Gave him a big tip for his efforts. They have a dance floor so maybe it would be... More
