This is a family business and it looks it. I stumbled across this in the airport area and boy am I glad I did. It's in a nondescript building and most likely, if you were not aware of it, you would stop. The sign, locale and store front will not win any awards. Inside, there is a line and you... More

This is hands-down the very best Mexican food we have ever eaten, and we love Mexican food. It is off the beaten track, but our son discovered it about three years ago and we love eating there! The chef is truly an artist, the food is beautifully concocted as you watch, and the flavor is amazing. Be sure to ask... More

Many years ago now, I tagged along with some co-workers to this hole-in-the-wall restaurant that you would never know was there unless someone who knew filled you in. Let me be that person! The same people who fixed our food nearly 10 years ago are the same people who fix our food today. This place is entirely ran by family.... More

The green chile plate is Godlike, Get there early. One guy prepares all the food and one lady handles the register. I haven't had the wet burritos but they look excellent as well. Highly recommended

Excellent food. Crowded at lunchtime but well worth the wait. Pollo was v.good! Highly recommended by local Family & RNO employee. Next time we'll try the Burritos.

My husband and I have been frequentings Albita's for over 5 years now. We go there because they treat you like family. The food is spectacular and the best Mexican food in Reno. Toni and Clara make you feel like you are in thier home every time you come. This has been our little secret place but has become very... More

Loved this place, was looking for something quick, new and local and decided to try this place as it was close to where I was. My 6yr old son who in general wishes that tortillas didn't exist even loved this place. I just got him some chips and salsa (which he was proud to be a fire breathing dragon) even... More

I love this place probably the best taco's in town. They do them a special way; they crisp them on the flat top if you ask for them crispy, which I highly recommend. I always order Al Pastor, but the other meats are great as well. I've never had but it seems a lot of people order their burritos as... More

Great food. Great price. Small hole in the wall. Known as a burrito place (and they serve huge burritos), but I loved the chile verde tacos (could have gotten a chile verde plate, but it was A LOT of food). If you want chips & salsa, you have to buy those separately. They are the homemade chips, so a little... More

If you like wet burritos with green or red sauce, this is really great stuff! The ingredients are fresh, made daily, and they use high quality ingredients. Typically, after mexican food a long nap is desired. At Albitas, whether the burrito is naked or with a tortilla, there is no nap needed after lunch. Great food, excellent family run business.
