This is a hidden gem that only locals know about. Brickies is packed at lunch time with folks wanting a small selection of great burgers and other pub food. But while the menu is limited, they have specials. No kidding, I had the best Hawaiian burger there and that is something I try everywhere. Whether you live in Reno or... More

We go there often for lunch as is close to office. Bar is usually packed with retired regulars. Available tables for dining. Service is spotty when they're busy. Faster service sitting at bar. Basic pub grub and no deep fryer. Lunch items come with chips or potato salad. The burgers are good as are the tacos. Don't expect to be... More

My wife & I went to Brickies for lunch yesterday. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my wife had a cheese steak. The cheeseburger was excellent...very tasty. We are originally from Philadelphia so we know good cheesesteaks. My wife loved the cheesesteak- the addition of au jus was delicious. Besides great food, the bartender and guests were very friendly. Steve,... More

I have gone here many times because of my local ties. Brickies has always been a fun place to watch the games and grab a quick bite. The drink prices have been getting higher and higher lately while the quality has slipped downward. No longer my favorite place to hang out.

We went to Brickies instead of black Friday shopping. Lucill makes a great bloody Mary. The food was fast and delicious and wasn't turkey. A great place for football too.

Had the corn beef tacos. Pretty tasty. Just not my kind of place. The definition of a dive bar. Very friendly staff.

Despite the info. showing that this place is closed, it is not. Food was good, and the gentleman behind the bar was great! Will be going back to try the corned beef tacos!!

The wife and I drove up from San Francisco on a Sunday for a short gambling trip. We arrived at 1pm and had some time to kill before checking into our hotel. We consulted the smart phone and ended up at Brickies Tavern. When we arrived, there were about 6 friendly locals at one end of the bar - we... More

Can't beat Brickie's for a weekend breakfast! It's primarily a bar, but no smoking. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, which friends told me was excellent. They were correct; for $9, it was a large steak, home fries, two eggs and toast. The eggs weren't quite done to my taste, but everything else was delicious. The cream gravy... More
