I live in San Francisco and I have wished for a restaurant like this for years. The food tastes authentic and is well above your standard Taqueria fare. Great selection of Mexican favorites. I had the Mole Enchiladas and it was delicious. Very distinct flavors and even the rice and beans were done well and not one pile of mush.... More

What can I say?? My husband LOVES Pozole (a mexican soup with hominy, pork, in a tomato broth, served with corn tortillas). Well, we live in California, and Miguel's Pozole is his favorite!!! Sooooo, occasional road trip to Reno is always welcome. We always eat at Miguel's. Oh, and I get to have one of their fabulous House Margaritas! But... More

The Super Nachos made with steak were a perfect blend of chips, beans, and melted cheese topped with standard toppings and amazing guacamole and tender steak pieces. The Flan added the perfect ending.

Went to Miguel's for the first time at the Summit. Outstanding meal and service. The location was very busy but the service was perfect and very attentive. The cocktails came out quickly and the busser kept our chips and salsa filled as soon as it got low. The food and sauces were freshly prepared and overall had a great experience.... More

I have gone to Bertha Miranda's off and on for almost twenty years. The food is consistently excellent and I have yet to find anything I haven't loved. In fact, we wound up going there Christmas Eve when our power went out for beef fajitas and chicken mole - both outstanding. The staff are helpful, efficient and get the food... More

It's been a while since I've eaten there, so need to go back and try it again soon. I ordered chile rellenos, which were very good, but the coup de gras was warm sopapillas with honey on the side.

What a historic restaurant, dinning should be a pleasurable and a taste buds delight... Fernando was over waiter and we never had to ask for anything, his pleasant personality and infectious smile made our dining experience at Miguel's a delight. My wife ordered a number 15 a Tostsada, I ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer and a Chicken burrito with all... More

We ordered 2 house Margareta's and a Fajita with an extra sour cream. The drinks and food were excellent. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. My only comment was that we had to pay $1 for extra sour cream (only a 2 oz. container). I think it should be included at no charge. Total cost was $29 before tip.

Miguel's happy hour menu in the bar is a gut-filling treat, washed down with the house margaritas. We keep going back so it must be all we say it is. Try it!
