Croissant donut that we ordered was yummy. Service was capable but wasn't very friendly. Nice space, busy.

We stumbled on The Jungle by accident and happy we did! It was a great spot to rest during our walk of downtown Reno. The coffee drinks were awesome!!

We stopped in for breakfast and coffee. Things weren't terribly busy, so there were empty tables inside and outside. To our pleasure, a Bluegrass group was jamming outside. They were very good-- I've heard worse at serious Bluegrass festivals. So we had good music while I waited for my burrito. The burrito arrived, and I was amazed at its size.... More

A cute coffee house spot right in the river walk. Lots of seating, with a nice selection and decent service.

I have visited Java Jungle on a couple occasions, even tho it is right across street from where I temporarily live in Reno. I visited there yesterday morn for a coffee to go and while I would like to share everything Space is limited, I had MY Wallet stolen while I waited for the staff to make a coffee! I... More

Stopped by for classic egg sandwiches and our lattes - and everything was perfect. Very eclectic interior that is somewhere between dorm room chic and storage locker but it works. Service was prompt and courteous, was able to sit outside with the mild weather to enjoy some people watching in the plaza. Worth a stop if in the area.

The moment I witnessed the cool cat on a Vanilla Cycles single speed lay his stead against the rail of the patio outside this café/bar combo, i knew I had to go in. I was not disappointed. I was energetically greeted by the young bartender who all but back flipped to get me a freshly poured pint of Green Flash... More

Was walking on the riverwalk in Reno last week. By chance, I stumbled on this place. Doesn't even look like a coffee shop. Rather run-down looking. Went in and had an excellent cup of 'Americano' and a very large piece of cake. Friendly, unpretentious, inexpensive and comfortable. Looks like it is a bar in the evenings, too.

I didn't eat at the coffee shop part of the Jungle Cafe but instead at Jungle Vino, the tiny wine and tapas bar that opens in the evening. Jungle Vino is absolutely adorable and charming and I had the most delicious and inventive cocktail there. Worth a visit for a pre-dinner drink or some small bites when you are wondering... More
