The oyster bar is a great restaurant for seafood they do a great clam chowder. The prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent. Located in the casino hotel makes it easy if you are staying at the hotel

Food is delicious, service is good and prices are too considering what you get. They have a great selection of Seafood stews, pan roasts, oyster shooters, and more. My favorites are Lazyman's Cioppino, Bouillabaisse and Combo pan roast. The sourdough bread goes great with everything, especially for dipping.

They weigh each portion of crab on paper and have it "ready to go" portion wise for each order. So no the crab is not canned.

I had not been here in years. It used to be quite the place. It has changed!! Although the service was great the seafood combination Louie was so bad I started gagging when I found the crab wrapped in paper. Does that mean it's canned?? I was too embarrassed to upset the host who loves this place and just asked... More

Gumbo was good but not nearly the best that I have had. Not too flavorful or spicy. My daughters sandwich was exactly what they said it was. Shrimp and Avocado. We shared a salad which was pretty basic. My $9 Margarita was like a slurpee from a machine. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. To top... More

This is the third time I have eaten at this restaurant. The seafood is always fresh and very good. The soups are outstanding. I would not order the deep fried shrimp again. The deep fried shrimp are overcooked and barely visible when they are butterflied and buried in the thick breading. I would urge anyone to avoid this menu item.... More

We've been going to the Oyster Bar for as long as we've lived in the area. I am sorry to see that the casino has been purchased and many changes have been make (My favorite tiki bar was demolished for a 40 yr old movie cowboy bar, yuck!) but the oyster bar has remained the same, Thank heavens! Everything on... More

Oh how it has fallen. Once the Oyster Bar was terrific, but today's Chowder had so much flour thickener to be obscene. Yuk

We had a quiet dinner in this hotel restaurant. There were many choices from light (soup and salad) to heavier. The three of us had a mix of that. Mussels were good. Chowder was quite good. Wish they had shoestring potatoes.
