The Branding Iron is a local favorite. Food is fast and really good if you are down with casino food. My favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs.

Took a trip up to Gold Ranch to buy a lottery ticket for our future. So many of us do this that live in Nevada. We thought we'd eat dinner in the casino cafe making an evening of it. Lots on the menu. We ordered the Prime Rib dinner. It was terrible. Dried out, discolored, & a BIG disappointment. I... More

Every time we have zoomed by on the freeway, I've wanted to stop and eat at the cafe. Well, as they say, I'm over it! For the first time ever, I asked the waitress to take the order back to the kitchen and to return with hot food. The second time around was not much better. I've never tasted hash... More

We were staying in the RV park and walked over to the Casino/Restaurant for the $6.99 Prime Rib. Surprisingly it was much better than expected; excellent flavor and large. The salad, which was extra, was mediocre at best, but it was only a 99 cent add on. Definitely would go there again.

Located right of the freeway. The $6.99 prime rib special with a free players card is a good deal. Meal comes with roll, potato, and vegetables. The meat was prepared to our specifications. The roll was fresh, vegetable was frozen corn. Decor is old and you have to walk through part of the stale old smoky casino.

Stopped for breakfast at the Gold Ranch Casino while on the road. This is a low end coffee shop with low end diner food. The casino provides a very smoky entrance to the restaurant. My husband had the corned beef hash and reports that it was not cooked all the way through. I had a chef salad that was barely... More

This is basically a coffee stop on one of those off-the-interstate cafe's attached to a Casino. It has the big signs on the freeway as you get near, and the signs probably haven't been updated in a few years as it seems that the breakfast "deal" on the sign is not what you see when you get in the cafe.... Located within the Gold Ranch Casino, had two meals here - one breakfast and one dinner. Both meals were just ok - average coffee shop style meals. Service was good and staff friendly. Be aware that the smoke from the casino trickles into the coffee shop which was annoying to me.

Ok this is a coffee shop and the 5 stars are based on the good food deals they offer. 6.99 8 oz prime rib with trimmings and many breakfast specials. My favorite the the 5.95 for 8oz ham steak, potatoes, 2 eggs and choice of toast. $2.29 for coffee so you might want to get that elsewhere. Very friendly waitresses.... More
