This is one of the few places to eat along this road, so we decided to grab a quick lunch. I ordered an $8 spinach salad, with strawberries and walnuts. The waitress asked, "Would you like to have shrimp with that?" I said sure. The shrimp were gigantic, four of them, the size of small lobsters. I shuttered to think... More

We wanted to be close by for the cog rail so we did not miss it and found this place on the way in. It is cute like an old train station and the train actually does stop here. We watched it out the window while we were eating. It is right on the main road right before you turn... More

We stopped in for dinner after a day of seeing the sights and were presently surprised at the casual but elegant atmosphere with a distinct old-world feel to it. The menu is not huge but offered a little bit of everything. I ordered the traditional turkey dinner. Nothing over the top, but it was good. It was a great place... More

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stop in at Fabyan's after a day of sight-seeing. When most visitors traveled by train, this was the stop for those venturing into New Hampshire's magnificent Crawford Notch. We are happy to have been able to host you at one of the area's original railroad stations, restored and converted to a... More

We paid $39 each for what was reputed to be a good restaurant. They failed to advise courier of change to group menu several weeks previously, failed to tell us soft drinks were free, and there was only one choice for pud - a massive slice of chocolate cake most of us didn't want, when the starters and mains had... Thank you for your review. I apologize for failing to meet, or for that matter, exceed, your expectations. It appears there was some confusion resulting from two tour groups stopping at the restaurant for lunch when only one group had a reservation. I apologize that our staff was anything but professional and welcoming, and we will be sure to review... More

Conveniently located at entrance to road to Mt. Washington cog railway. Nice to warm up and have good meal after visit. Excellent food and service. Being from Reading, took note of model Reading Railroad train which circles the dining room. Manager appreciated this and gave me information about area/station's history.

Stopped in to eat twice during my stay at the Mount Washington Omni Resort for a conference. Once for dinner and for lunch and both times I left with a big smile. The food menu is varied but not overwhelming with too many choices. The servers that I met were all very courteous, professional and friendly. And the place definitely... More

This restaurant is great for dinner! They have a great selection of beers and their haddock is super well prepared. The portions are generous but one doesn't leave feeling stuffed.

We stopped in for a late lunch after coming back down the Mt Washington Cog Rail. We'd hesitated due to some not so good TripAdvisor reviews and the number of motorcycles in the parking lot, but our experience was very very good. At least for lunch, this is pub food, with lots of interesting appetizers, burgers ,and sandwiches. They also... More

Try the nachos - A HEAPING pile of goodness. LOL. We stopped here for something to tide us over before dinner later in the evening. Can't say much about the other food, but from what we saw, helpings were big and prices were not outrageous. Fun little bar inside, too.
