Why go here when Dunkins is around the corner? Because this place is fresh and great! If you want maple doughnuts get there early! Iced coffee here has frozen coffee cubes so it will not water down.

Stopped here before getting on the highway. Doesn't look like much from the outside but open the door..... Lovely rustic country feel. Coffee and breakfast was fantastic. I had homemade hash which was delicious. I recommend this little hidden gem

Great iced chai. Good coffee A bit pricey for sandwiches, $4 for a grilled cheese is a little much. But is was good.

A very homey and comfortable place for coffee and sandwiches. The ice coffee is highly recommended as it is the only place that serves it with coffee ice cubes. The sandwiches are interesting and different. The bread is home made. Soups are different every day. Pasteries are also home made and well done.

Some of the best coffee I've had in New England. Quirky little place with a great vibe and friendly staff. Won't be the last time we are here.

When over from England visiting my daughter just north of Boston I just love visiting diners. Called at Mad River Coffee House for breakfast whilst staying in the Whie Mountains and this has to be one of the best for a variety of reasons. Coffee is definitely excellent, cool surroundings, very good food and a great atmosphere. I'd love to... More

Our son married and moved up here; the discovery was theirs. Great coffee. "Interesting" dishes, but they have the staples for a conservative palate, so if you just want eggs, toast, home fries, and coffee, you've got it. If you want something fancier, you've got it. My only quibble is bagels - my traditional Jewish parents are spinning in their... More
