Happy to have a place make there own soup with fresh ingredients. Had the haddock chowder, better then the coast of Maine. House made desserts also. For a small place they had plenty of choices. Free newspaper and great waitstaff made for a nice lunch at fair pricing.

Stopped by the Newell Post this morning for breakfast with my wife. She ordered her favorite - Belgian Waffles and I got the Hash Omelet. We no sooner started to enjoy our first cup of coffee and the meal appeared. Everything was great! The waffles came with warm apples and whipped cream on top. The 3-egg omelet with hash, onions... I had breakfast with a client. The service was quick and I did not have to track anyone down for coffee. Try the hash, you won't regret it.

I wanted this place to be awesome. In our town we have very few places to eat breakfast. This isn't a good one. It is small, cramped and average at best. The soda's come in plastic bottles. The place has very little parking and the food is okay at best. My son and his friends like to walk there and... More

Tucked away in Penacook, NH - the food is amazing. Weekends are busy and it can be difficult to navigate the small parking lot. The food is worth the wait though. It's a very small restaurant but you can't judge it by its size. If you are in the Concord area you have to make the trip. Very clean and... More

Great breakfast spot in Concord. Very friendly staff. We had the spinach and the western omelette and both were delicious. They only serve breakfast and lunch and close at 2:00, so make sure you come in early.

Myself and my son in law stopped in to grab some food in the middle of our moving. The waitress was nice, but a little too buubly. The atmosphere wad clean and inviting. A little small, about 10 booths, 6 stools at a counter and a few 2 tops in the middle. Food was ok. My toast and home fries... More

Came home to Concord and my daughter recommended the Newel Post for breakfast. Great coffee, great breakfast! Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash Browns and pancakes were so yummy! I'll be back next time I'm home!

Had scrambled eggs, they were so flat not fluffy. Had to be to much oil on the grill. Kielbasa there is excellent. Older woman who works there very pleasant. Walked right past the owners not even a smile. Remember a smile and a review can go a long way.
