Every time we travel up north, we stop at the Miss Wakefield Diner for a good meal. The place is quaint and clean, the staff is helpful and hard working, and the food is very good. We recently looked on line and saw some negative reviews for this diner, and were so surprised! We have never had a bad experience... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way to hike Green Mountain. The owner has been in the business a long, long time and has the most dedicated wait staff I've ever encountered in a diner. Naturally the place is shiny clean and neat despite being an old diner that has been renovated. It has a real... More

We always enjoy an excellent breakfast at the diner. It is usually quite busy but there isn't a long wait as the service is very good.

We've been driving by this place for years and today we finally stopped in. The place is busy. Tables stayed empty for only a minute or two. The waitresses were hopping. Our breakfast and waitress were excellent. We will be stopping by again.

Nothing special here, Very limited menu, nothing for a person on a cardio or low sodium diet. No chicken breast, Really?? Who doesnt do chicken?? Also they wouldn't do an egg white omlet for my spouse either, seriously?? How hard is it to seperate 2 eggs?? Seriously disapointed here...

Pulled in around 930am on a Saturday heading up to the White Mountains for the day. Place was very busy, told it was a 1 hour wait, first available. Well, we got lucky, it was only 40 minutes. Folks before us wanted a specific area and people in front of them wanted the counter. They did have 1 spot open... More

By NY standards this establishment is simple and basic. The weekend breakfast menu included pancakes, eggs, biscuit & gravy, omelettes, etc. All done satisfactorily with no frills. The service was very friendly and many customers were known to staff by name, a nice touch. The prices were reasonable making this place a good value. Lunch could also be ordered but... More

Great old fashioned diner for a quick in and out breakfast. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Complete breakfast menu, my son had French toast , my daughter had scrambled eggs, toast and baked beans, moderately priced, tables turn over quickly so the wait is not long, and there is s gift shop next door to poke around in(my kids...
