Overall a great experience! The food was tasty and the staff friendly and helpful! We were a group of 10 and wanted our checks individually....yikes! They did a great job with our orders and offered good suggestions.

Whether you want a drink at the bar and some live music later in the evening or a family meal earlier on I think you will find it here. I had heard this place had a view of the river and I was curious to check it out. My daughter and I went for an early dinner (5pmish) and we... More

Great place for a family. The rooms are clean and spacious, great porch with lake views. However, one warning: Stay here but do not dine here. We had a bad dinner. It took them ages to prepare it (and we were the only family in the dining room! ) And when the food arrived finally, it was not tasty at... More

We drove out, thinking it would be a nice romantic night with a great view! A tour bus must have arrived before us as there was a dessert bar set out. Food was pricey, waitstaff was too busy with their Halloween theme/pictures instead of being concerned about taking care of us. We had to wait an extremely long time for... More

We just went there for dinner. The service was good, the staff friendly and the view was nice. The place is dated and the food was average. I was there with my son, his wife and my grandkids (2 and 6 years old). It is kid friendly. I had the prime rib which was a very thick cut and was... More

Nothing special about this place. Typical run of the mill bar food. Our server, Mercedes, was great! The atmosphere & food leave much to be desired.

We went to the Indian Head for an evening meal on our trip to the White Mountains. Of a party of four all of us were disappointed in our choice of meal. The macaroni was tasteless and the sauce very thin, steak tips were practically inedible, the kids meal was awful, the child said the hamburger was tasteless and the... More

This old style resort showed remnants of years past when things might have been more opulent. It did allow a great photo op of its namesake hanging off the mountain side. We stopped by in mid afternoon and ate out on the wood upper deck where we had a nice view of their pond and woods. The grounds were well... More

We had our breakfast and dinner included in our travel package. Everything was wonderful. Service was great and everyone at IHR was very friendly.
