I've eaten at Gusanoz several times over the years and it's one of those places that never really stood out before as anything but average. Its food was okay, its service was okay, its beer was good, its setting was blah, etc. BUT - really had a great lunch there yesterday! We wanted to eat some place close and quick,... More

I highly recommend this small family owned restaurant over any of the chain restaurants in town! I eat here once a week, every week Alex is my server and she is amazing! She's very attentive and friendly. The food is always spectacular and they have bombbbbb margaritas!

This restaurant has a very extensive menu of Mexican dishes that you will not find at a chain Mexican restaurant. If you love Mexican you will get your fill at Guszanos. our party stopped for lunch. We had the non-meat nachos which were full of yummie cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a generous dollop of sour cream on top. It was... More

Everything is awesome. They make a great fried ice cream as well. I always get the burrito boracho but they have a decent menu for other items

Just reading through my past reviews, I would like to update this one. My "average review" is now outdated and irrelevant. Gusanoz has improved dramatically over the past couple of years. The food is consistent and good now that they seem to have everything running smoothly. I am a big fan of the Taco Salad with ground beef and a... More

Had dinner here on Saturday night, January 14. What an unexpected delight. Friends had told me that they had eaten here last month and that it was very good. From the moment we arrived the server was friendly, efficient and very forthcoming in his recommendations. We started with an appetizer chicken taquitos which were perfectly cooked and served with salsa... More

The servers couldn't do enough to make me happy! I placed a special order which they bent over backwards to oblige me. The food is freshly prepared, tortilla chips are housemade, and the salsa is a delight. If you like tequila and cerveza this is your place. I however love the chile rellenos. Gluten-free, meat, vegetarian and vegan options will... More

Gusanoz is owned by Maria Limon and Nick Yager and we pride ourselves on making the vast majority of our food from scratch using ingredients that would be found in a home kitchen in Mexico. We offer many authentic dishes as well as some TexMex favorites. Our recipes are derived from the food that Maria grew up with in Sonora and Durango, Mexico and our flavors remain authentic to her family's home cooking.
