My Dad and I came here with some skepticism on a Wednesday night after realizing that it is a microbrewery first and an eatery second. When we went inside, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was actually a decent amount of tables in...More

It was too busy when we stopped by to eat, so we managed to snag a couple of chairs at the bar and just tried their beer. A very popular spot, there was over an hour wait for a table. We tried a couple different...More

Good food. Pizza smelled and tasted delicious. The heat needed to be turned up in the dining room. Service was a bit slow but friendly.

My husband and I ate here twice during a stay in Whitefield and we were so grateful to find this place! There aren't many quality food places in the area, but Schilling definitely serves fresh, quality food, and is well worth the trip! They even...More

We came to see the covered bridge. This beer company was very close so we jumped inside to get a beer and warm up. The place was packed and was very enjoyable. Fantastic time.

Nice rusk atmosphere with a wide variety of good beers and delicious food. Staff is friendly. Maple vinaigrette for your salad is excellent.

Limited menu but everything excellent. We enjoyed our pizza as one of the better we’ve had in NH. My only complaint was the lack of a brown/amber ale on their otherwise decent selection of brews.

Yes, we offer gluten-free crusts from Against the Grain. This is an option for all of our pizzas. For those who do not drink beer (shame!) we offer Citizen Cider on tap, as well as a limited wine selection.

Description
Schilling Beer Co. Is a progressive European-inspired small-batch brewery. We exclusively brew beers that we are personally passionate about--beers that tell a story about our history, friendship and values. We believe that craft beer is best enjoyed in community and within a specific sense of place. Our Cicerone-educated staff and unique location-on the banks of the Ammonoosuc River in a carefully renovated three-story 1797 gristmill-provide an optimal environment to do just that. We offer rustic Neopolitan-style pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, local meats and cheeses and other plates designed to pair with our beers. Our food is rustic, simple and fresh, emphasizing local sources whenever possible. Outdoor beer garden and riverfront deck seating are available, weather permitting.
