Was here during the New Hampshire primary election 2016. Great service! Not THE BEST food but really very good bar food, and the bartenders and waitstaff are terrific. Very solid burger!

Headed out for a night out downtown. Atmosphere is great. Small establishment, but great opportunity to interact with your barmates on either side of you. They do have live music, but it's in the back so it's not too loud up front. Typical bar night life after 9 PM. But crowd all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Good Irish bar. Lively atmosphere. Half hearted attempt at true Irish food. Too bad, they could make some $$'s if they paid more attention to the food service.

I know this is a pub...but I would recommend, only going for the beer. We went on a Sunday afternoon, just getting into town...thought it looked like a good place for a bite to eat. I ordered the tomato bisque soup and a salad. The tomato bisque was a bowl of thick jar spaghetti sauce...I couldn't eat it. The salad... More

Stopped in for dinner - we split the hummus plate. I was good, tons of garlic and a bit of heat. Served with veg and pita. I had the turkey club with onion rings. The club was good, the slice of turkey was ok, just ok - it was clearly our of a bag vs. a fresh slice. The rings... More

Trivia night at the Shaskeen is awesome - Monday nights at 7:30pm. We've made it our weekly trivia home. The staff at the Shaskeen (including the trivia dude) are always friendly. The food is decent pub fare - and they have Magners on draft, which I love.

I had Chicken Picatta. it was amazing with fresh Green Beans and Angel hair spaghetti. We had a few beers and there were 4 of us. We all loved our meals. But I have to say we had to play find the waitress 7 times. It took forever to get our food but it was good. We decided to eat... More
