Each and every time our family has a major event in the Manchester, NH area, we ALWAYS celebrate the occasion at the Puritan Backroom. It is that good. The food is superb, the service is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. There is plenty...More

Being new to the Manchester area, Im excited to try the local restaurants. The Puritan came highly recommended to me. No surprise why... The service was great and the food was fantastic. Although it's well known that chicken fingers are great there I had to...More

We were told by locals to try the Puritan or Fratellos, as both were top notch. We had asked a meter Maid on Elm Street, figuring they would be a good source. We went to Fratellos Saturday night and the Puritan for lunch on Sunday...More

Also a favorite stop whenever we are in Manchester. The chicken tenders and everything else is off the charts good, with monstrous portions and great servers.

We went for lunch on a Monday. They have some great daily lunch deals like a sandwich and soup for $8! It was so much food, I felt like I could have split that with someone. The chicken tenders are delicious, but the batter is...More

I had the salmon dinner with mash potatoes. The salmon wasn't pink and I'm guessing it was farm raised. Portion size was okay, but not worth the cost. The ice cream is excellent. There can be a wait at dinner time. I would go back,...More

The puritan is known for its World Famous Chicken Tenders and as it should as not only do they taste great but they also give you amazingly large portions for the price. The decor in the main restaurant is dated however that's what gives it...More

It's a short 10 minutes away. From the SNHU Ctr, drive north on Elm st thru the downtown for a mile or so. Take Right at lights at Webster Street (Rte 3/28). Puritan is on your right in about another mile or so.
