I've been to Pickity several times, usually get there once a year and have always been impressed! I really enjoy getting to try new foods that I'd probably never choose elsewhere. Love coming here with friends. Lavender lemonade in the summer is always my 1st choice!

Fabulous changing menus every month. Use herbs and local ingredients. Cute place with lots of charm.

Delicious lunch at the red cottage used to illustrate Golden Books version of "Little Red Riding Hood.' Beautiful gardens & grounds to stroll around; that include a shop & nursery in the woods of New Hampshire.

The friendly staff and wonderful grounds really make this place what it is. The food however was disappointing. The staff tried hard to accommodate my allergies but they really were not on top of things when it comes to allergies. They even have a statement in their menu that states, "we are not responsible for allergies" Really how sad is... More

We happened upon Pickity Place for the first time during a day trip. We missed the last seating for the restaurant but we plan to go back again. This is a charming, enchanting, peaceful place. The kind of place you enjoy visiting because the surroundings have such a calming effect. It has an interesting history too because the illustrator of... More

We've been going her for years and each time we go, it's a great experience. Not only is the food great, as well as the service, it's a beautiful place to walk around. They have a gift shop and I always get the soup that we had for lunch to take home in the shop. They also have plants for... More

I have never been disappointed! From the moment you enter into this Golden Book "Little Red Riding Hood" entryway. To the quaint shop that you have to make time to browse through. To each perfectly crafted meal (that looks "almost" amazing as it tasted). To the incredible service in which each meal was delivered, all of these reasons are why... More

What a delightful place. This was the home of Elizabeth Jones who did the illustrations for the Little Red Riding Hood Golden Books. It looks just like your imagination must think. The only thing I can't wait for is to see the beautiful gardens and flowers in the spring. Well...that's not true. I can't wait for another lunch there either.... More

The luncheon is $21.95 (plus tax), but it’s five courses (and beverages are included). So in the end, you get what you pay for! Everything is from scratch and incorporates fresh or dried herbs for exceptional (and unique) flavor. I’ve been three times now, and – quite frankly – I always leave saying that it was one of the best... More

This is my favorite place to go with my husband. It's such a peaceful and enchanting Nursery Rhythm come to life. A small red cottage, very quaint just like the one in the Red Riding Hood story. The food is amazing, the owner is very pleasant to everyone that comes to her cottage for lunch. Our server Andrea is so... More
