Here's the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. This defines every experience I've had at a Common Man restaurant -- whether this one in Merrimack, or the one in Windham. The food is not nearly good enough...More

There were 6 of us that came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, 5 of us ordered burgers and the other one had a reuben. We were all very happy with our sandwiches except for one of us who said the burger was too well...More

Classic food that will remind you of home (without having to make it or clean up afterwards). Worth the trip, affordable for a family, plenty of seating and great service. Free cheese is a nice bonus.

The charming farm-like setting was perfect for the rainy evening, and our party of 8 was comfortably seated at a large round table. While enjoying drinks and the free cheese and crackers, we all found something tempting on the extensive menu--lots of New England dishes...More

We enjoy this restaurant! It has a cozy, homey feel, and the food is always good. We bring our girls and just relax. The prices are not bad at all and it's a nice ending after some shopping at the nearby outlets. We fortunately do...More

Beautiful setting in an old farmhouse, authentically decorated, very warm, welcoming, cozy. The trademark Common Man free cheeses and crackers is a plus! This is not haute cuisine, but excellent New England fare, wholesome ingredients, well prepared. Great service. What they do, they do very...More

As of recently, they do not take reservations. As I remember, they will give you special consideration if you call ahead, right before you leave. It is a large restaurant and generally has very short lines.
