Eating here is fun, and the food is wonderful. The staff is attentive, and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend El Tapatio for those seeking good Mexican fare.
we used to frequent this place when it first opened it was really good. then it started to slack for both service and food quality. so we stick to the sister restaurant la carretta in manchester. more consistent with both food/chips/salsa
Just went driving around looking for a place to eat. Stumbled upon this place. All three of us were fairly impressed. Chips and salsa are definitely above average. All three of us got the fajitas. All agreed that they were good and would certainly go back. Wish we tried something else so we could give a more in depth report.... More
I've been here a few times for supper and have never been disappointed. However, lunch was just so much better. Plenty of parking, no crowds (there should be), the lunch menu is so much smaller (supper menu just has sooooooo many choices) and the price was just that much sweeter. This place used to be good when it first opened but it has totally declined on quality of food. Servers make a lot of mistakes on orders and it takes a long time to get your food.

My husband had the crab enchiladas which were absolutely delicious and tender with a very delicate cheese sauce that melted in your mouth. The prices are... More
We have wanted to check El Tapatio out for awhile, but prior attempts were thwarted by sick kids or inclement weather. So when we wanted to avoid cooking prior to the Thanksgiving weekend, we thought we stop on in. We were warmly greeted and were seated right away. The dining area is very brightly lit (maybe a bit too bright)... More
Friday evening dinner. Chips and salsa to start. Spicy wing appetizer. Big, tasty servings. Mixed fajita with shrimp, steak and chicken was excellent; steak fajita was sitting in a bit too much oil.
Molcajete is a game changer. It is by far something i dream about, and makes every trip to New Hampshire worth while. The chips and salsa are good, but this is amazing. This is a dish you share, and the pepper is spicey!
