We arrived after a long day hiking the white mountains. We chose this place because they had both our beers on tap and the menu looks interesting. We had wings, fried artichokes and shared some Tika chicken tacos. The wings tasted good, I don't know...why they are not segmented, but still the flavor was good. The artichokes needed something...and the tacos were tasty. I gave to say, the woman that waited on us was really great. She was on top of refills of our drinks and seemed to handle everything so we'll. We wanted mussels but they were out. I think she expected us to be upset, but we just went with it. A great eating experience, thank you.More

My wife and I don’t drink but we come to New Hampshire once a year and we tried this place out. We most definitely will be sure to come back. I had Korean bbq tacos and my wife had the pesto chicken gnocchi. Bothe were...a slam dunk. We both work in the restaurant business so we’re pretty picky but we loved it. Told my family that lives in NH to check it out when they’re in the area.More

We walked in and I thought wow the atmosphere is great in here. The service was extremely slow and it was not busy. Our waitress spent most of her time at the host stand chatting. The food was just okay- everything but the burger was...lacking any real taste. We won’t be back. With the location they have a lot of potential here, they need to step it up.More

After waiting 45 minutes when told it would be 15-20, we finally sat down, ordered a wine and a beer. The pour on the wine was a half glass at best so decided to order a bottle to save money. Mussels with sausage app contained...kielbasa ... that's not sausage where we come from. Flavors were beyond weird and the giant pretzel we ordered was cute from a presentation standpoint but very well done. Gnocchi entree was more bizarre flavors, burger with salad was fine. There's a lot of opportunity here, but the night we were there missed the mark entirely.More

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I'm sorry to hear about the wait - we reduced capacity due to COVID we have seen longer waits than we'd like and it can be difficult at best to predict wait times. But I understand why that...More

A nice restaurant to grap lunch with family, friends or a love one. When we entered we were met with a table of customers eating and couldn’t tell where the c welcoming desk was. But we later were directed by the person at the bar...to the server to be seated. My only recommendation is for them to move the service and welcoming desk to the front of the door. So that when you enter that is the first people you see. Not people eating. Personally I will not feel comfortable sitting there and having people walk in and the first thing they see is me eating. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant waitress and enjoyed our meal too. Will be back again.More

Thanks for that feedback. The hostess station is to the left of the door. Depending on staffing (and we have had some staffing shortages lately), the server might be the one directing you to your seat. Understandable that that was less than ideal. Glad you...More

My family went to eat while celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The host/server was prompt, helpful and friendly. It was a quiet Thursday night. The food was delicious, our server took the time to explain and answer questions politely. He was kind and funny, he took...the time to listen to my kids as they spoke. I missed his name but he said his family was from Macedonia. We wanted to try the deserts, as they looked amazing and the couple at the table next to us said they were incredible! We will absolutely revisit and recommend Barley and Salt to our friends!More

We were looking for a restaurant for mid afternoon brunch. Happened across Barley and Salt. We were so happy from the minute we walked in and was greeted by the hostess. She was so pleasant and seated us at "her favorite table". The food and...drinks were excellent. Such a great feeling to get your money's worth. We'll be back!!!!!More

This place is a gem! On a suggestion from a salon woman, we had a late lunch and man it was absolute excellence from the get go. We started with tap cider and truffle fries which were incredible! Then our meals of Pho, and grass...fed beef!! I mean it was fantastic!! Truly had an eye for clean fresh product. Service was so on point. I cant emphasize just how wonderful this place is.. Cannot wait to go back.More
