I had the salad with apples, cheese and walnuts on curly lettuce with an apple vinaigrette--it was WONDERFUL! My husband had a chicken sandwich--real chicken breast, not cold cuts. He also had the clam chowder which he said was excellent. It is just a cute little place at the top of the stairs, but the food here is superior. My... More

We have been to every breakfast place in and around North Conway and Stairway has taken the number one spot! Their game sausage alone is worth the visit. Big portions, friendly staff, home like atmosphere. Not very big so when it's busy you will have to wait. So worth it!

Climb the stairs and wait,it's more than worth any wait. Original offerings and old favorites await the climber, tight spaces forcing you to meet your neighbors. Or save time and share a table with strangers, meet new friends and eat a great meal. Now matter when we have gone ,busy or slow, great service and even better food was the reward.... More

It's a great place to have breakfast and has some great options. The space is colorfully decorated and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's small so you'll definitely want to get there early or expect a wait at peak times.

Had the banana walnut pancakes, they were probably the best I've ever had. Nice small area, one server who handled it all.

A great little restaurant, kind of funky, like a cottage kitchen, but absolutely a treasure. Had the Stairway Salad Specialty which was very tasty and fresh. Nearby diners also seemed to be enjoying the ambiance and the food. On a bitterly cold day the hot chicken soup was perfect!

Came here with a large group of people on Sunday morning. The place is not big and the waiting area is non-existent so you have to wait on the stairs or outside in cold (it was winter time). While we waited on the stairs, a couple was leaving the restaurant and the stairs were full of mud (snow outside) and... More
