Food was terrific, everything we tried was a winner. If my wife and I could eat the same food (don't ask) we'd go here all the time. As we can't, we ordered 5 small plates plus a beer and glass of wine, for $100 with...More

We got so much food here: fried pickles, pudding frites, cornbread, potatoes, mushroom fettuccine, and more...I can't even remember it all. Everything was insanely good. The dish that stood out the most was the mushroom fettuccine plate - it was incredibly savory and delicious. The...More

"American tapas" is how they market this restaurant -- a good description. Plates are small, so you should order multiples to ensure everyone at the table has a taste. Service was good, and the dishes arrived in a staggered fashion rather than all at once....More

My husband and I stopped by on a whim last saturday night and were able to get seated fairly quickly with no reservation. We had the calamari as a starter and I agree with other reviews this was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised with...More

Stopped here with friends and enjoyed most everything. Quality was right on and felt the portions just a bit small. This place has a great vibe and service was perfect.

How did I not know about this place? Small plates, all amazing. A continental tapas, if you will. Every dish was unique, especially the rarebit and the short rib. Calamari was excellent but not so different than you can get elsewhere, but that was the...More

Great for couples or friends, not for little children. New England Dinner 2.0 was absolutely delicious. Sizes were perfect for our date night and sharing!

We made a reservation here for dinner while in Portsmouth during a holiday weekend. The restaurant was slammed so they were delayed in getting our table. We were continuously checked on, offered free drinks, and our table had snacks waiting when we were seating. The...More

I stopped by for a quick dinner, had the sangria, beef short rib marmalade and the hasty pudding frites. The sangria wasn't that flavorful, the frites were bland, and the two tiny servings of the beef short rib marmalade on the hors d'oeuvre-size bread were...More

Moxy is a restaurant. The Sheraton is one of the many lovely hotels in Portsmouth. Please re-read the various reviews. I am a visitor to Portsmouth, not a business owner there

Moxy; Self-possessed confidence. An attitude of fearlessness in everyday circumstances. The capacity to stand alone in favor of an unpopular opinion or course of action with a casual demeanor. Moxy is a modern American tapas restaurant focusing on smaller plates meant for sharing and taking our inspiration from our local farmers, culture and history. Moxy is tapas in spirit, energy, style of din
