Have been to Moxy several times. Most recent was October 2016 and the food and service was excellent again! Great by-the-glass wine list that is by number and description rather than by name... their unique way of encouraging you to try something different... and we...More

Really nice variety of small plates here. All were artfully plated and delicious. More about quality than quantity. Service was Spot On.

This smallish place is comfortable and no pretentious. The wait staff were excellent. The wine list intriguing. And the food was even better. The dishes featured unusual combinations, described by other reviewers, that worked well together. I loved the rabbit dishes especially.

Walked in on a Monday night. No reservation required. Friendly staff, but the food omg yum.... highlights were pork belly bites, pork ribs and the chicken sandwich but frankly it was all really good!! Even better it's locally sourced, so you can feel socially responsible...More

Had my first visit to Moxy and I had high expectations based on what I've read. Unfortunately I was very disappointed.  Restaurant was comfortable, service was very good, prices were acceptable, food just lacked definition. Started with the Chili Pepper Cornbread.  This was the best...More

I went with four people and we all shared plates, they were all different and very good, I had the bartender make me whatever she wanted and it was delicious. The waitress was great and our food came out with perfect timing. The downside is...More

Moxy has a great vibe. The bar was packed early evening so my husband and I sat in the very cool, comfy green seats by the front window after we ordered our drinks. The bartenders were very on point with both the bar, us and...More

No bargains are found here. I spend half my life in Manhattan and the prices at Moxy are comparable. Sure everything looks like a bargain until you order the goat ravioli for 12 bucks and literally get 5 ravioli and 5 pieces of broccoli, that...More

My husband and I ate at Moxy two weeks ago when we were in Portsmouth for the weekend. The vibe is casual and relaxed, which is what we wanted. We had met the chef and so he gave us a few tips on what to...More

Stopped in Portsmouth on a road trip and we were recommended Moxy by one of the owners of Liar's Bench brewery. Could not have been happier. The food was phenomenal, and the service was the same. Shanon and Remy (spelling?) took great care of us....More

Moxy is a restaurant. The Sheraton is one of the many lovely hotels in Portsmouth. Please re-read the various reviews. I am a visitor to Portsmouth, not a business owner there
