Amazing lunch and selection of brews. Also a shop selling great merchandise. We had lunch there on holiday from Wales UK. Was fantastic experience. Thank you.

We've had many visits to Portsmouth, but this is the first time that we have actually stopped at the Portsmouth Brewery for drinks or food or anything. It is always so crowded, that it never seemed worth the wait, with so many other great spots....More

Awesome staff and great food! Had no problem accommodating our large group. Way better service than the Gas Light down the street.

Not even average pub food quality. My entre which was a “Restaurant Week” special was room temperature and dried out. It was a pasta dish with one mushroom and very little sauce. The General Pao fried cauliflower was very good. Beers are Ok unless you...More

My husband and I enjoyed a great dinner here. There was a large selection of house-brewed beers on tap, and the ones we tried were marvelous. I had the chowder of the day and a field greens salad and enjoyed them both. Hubbie is a...More

We went here for lunch. We ordered basic burgers and I ordered pastrami Reuben. We ordered IPA"s made in house. Everything was delish, served quickly, and efficiently. The restaurant itself is a basic pub but trendy. We were happy to dine here.

Good afternoon (sorry for the tardy reply). Yes, we do have a small patio, but, alas, we can not allow pets there as it is only accessible from inside the building.

Welcome to New Hampshire's original brewpub, a landmark in downtown Portsmouth's thriving restaurant scene since 1991. Our wide-ranging menu is complemented by a selection of our own unique, hand-crafted beers, as well as selected guest beers, including hard-to-find selections from our sister company, Smuttynose Brewing Co. Come for the beer. Stay for the food. We serve all types!
