We went for restaurant week and had the lunch special. It came with a flight of beers, which were fine, but the food was absolutely terrible. We all tried the 3 different entrees and all were awful. The salmon dish was just a bunch of...More

We enjoyed a later evening meal here after a nice walk around Portsmouth. Family friendly and something for all tastes. Generous portions and just delicious! Great staff too.

Stopped on the way back from dinner to have a drink. My dining partner chose from the beer menu, I had the only cabernet sauvignon on the wine list (Warwick), which was a nice medium-bodied wine. It was very crowded on the Saturday night that...More

Stopped here for lunch, took a quick shot downstairs in the awesome bar during our wait. Food was amazing got the pulled pork sandwich and the lamb gyro. They only sell the beer they make in the brewery, tried a cucumber one it was delish!

Was spending the night on a business trip, and went for dinner on my own. Great beer selection, and the mussels were amazing. Together with some asagio fries and a beer, ended up having a great dinner. Totally recomendable!

This place is wonderful when it comes to their craft beers and delicious food. Everything is reasonably priced and splitting appetizers with a group of friends is always the way to go. Would continue to come back!

Good beer and nice people working there. I enjoy beer but some breweries are not so good. This place had great variety of fresh brews. Recommended.

First visit to this Craft beer spot. Huge selection of beer and the barkeeps are more than happy to let you sample, prior to ordering. Friendly staff (minus 1) but hey, that’s pretty good these days. Clean, nice crowd and an enjoyable place to spend...More

Good afternoon (sorry for the tardy reply). Yes, we do have a small patio, but, alas, we can not allow pets there as it is only accessible from inside the building.

Welcome to New Hampshire's original brewpub, a landmark in downtown Portsmouth's thriving restaurant scene since 1991. Our wide-ranging menu is complemented by a selection of our own unique, hand-crafted beers, as well as selected guest beers, including hard-to-find selections from our sister company, Smuttynose Brewing Co. Come for the beer. Stay for the food. We serve all types!
