Saw few other, better recommended Portsmouth breakfast spots but local waitress pointed us to Colby's. Pancakes were best ever. Strong coffee that puts Starbucks to shame. Despite weekend lines, smart to put your name down and then have a coffee few doors down at German pastry and coffee place that was also very special

Great service! Excellent food. Clean rest rooms. We loved eating there. It was a great experience. We will eat there again when we are in the area.

Excellent breakfast spot! Service and food were great. If planning on a weekend visit, plan to wait for a table.

Scheduled a business breakfast today at Colby's for 9:00 am. The place only has 10 tables which were occupied and we were told there would be a short wait. A half hour later, we were seated. Unfortunately, I had scheduled another meeting at 10:00 am at a nearby restaurant which meant I really had to eat fast and still was... More

We were looking to experience something "local" before playing golf nearby, and I'm so glad we stumbled upon Colby's!! It's a small place, but we were there on a weekday so did not have to wait. We were pleasantly surprised that they offered veggie sausage patties and they were so good I had to call the waiter back over to... More

Visited this restaurant 2 consecutive weekends in August, great breakfast on both visits. Its a small, quaint restaurant with limited seating indoors and 3 tables outside in the alley. We enjoyed sitting outside as it was a litle cooler but indoors was okay it just got too hot and stuffy. The breakfast was very good, the coffee was good, the... More

Worth waiting to eat breakfast here. Excellent homemade hash which I tried in the Ruben omelette. Also good eggs Benedict. Very small but we were lucky enough to score a outside table.

We found this place on the way to the park and noticed the crowd of people so we decided to try it. It's a very small place, but they handle large crowds well, they are very efficient and wait on you immediately. The guys that seated and served us we super friendly! The potions were huge! I ordered cinnamon swirl... More
