We have very frequent guests visiting our lake home in wolfeboro, NH so we often take them to dinner at the Cider Press Inn. The atmoshpere is very old time new england and the food is fabulous. the owner'chef and his wife truly know their business.

Understand that all reviews are subjective and we eat out quite a bit and repeat many places, all around NH and Maine, probably two to four times a week. so the act of going out is not a generally a "special occasion" We visited the Cider Press late last season. Note, Be careful if you look at their website, it... More

The Cider Press restaurant near Wolfeboro, New Hampshire has delicious food prepared ingeniously, that is just scrumptious. I had the salmon with pistachios and panko crumbs. It was so good and cooked perfectly as was the baked potato. My husband had their special, baby back ribs and picked his fingers clean. It was like being in a historic home with a... More

Put this on your GPS and go! The ambience is wonderful, the waitresses attentive, and the food OUTSTANDING. Lots of breath between tables that allow you to hear those talking at your table, and you do not feel rushed to order. The food really is quite good and reasonable. You will return again, I assure you.

We stopped here to pick up something and decided on a whim to sit at the bar and have some appetizers. The hostess was not to happy with letting us sit at the bar, informing us that we needed reservations. We finally were able to sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers after some talking. The bartender, Bob, has... More

We have been visiting the Cider Press for 30 years. We are never disappointed. I am addicted to tempura shrimp and house steak is better than a tenderloin and reasonably priced!!!

Kids steak burnt.. Stuffed shrimp burnt.. Bread dry. Dressings gloppy. Lobster bisque tasted like melted salted butter and not much else. Only redeeming quality is the tempura chicken bits. A lot of better more affordable options in town. Would give it 0 if possible

Although we are locals, tonight is the first time we've eaten at the Cider Press. I had the Lemon Chicken and my husband had the ginger Salmon. Both meals were well prepared and delicious. The restaurant has only been open for a couple of weeks for the season and it didn't feel like it. We've been to places that were... More

We had a wonderful dinner at the Cider Press. What makes it stand out is the extras that are provided. Homemade cottage cheese blend with crackers and fresh vegetables, delicious small loaf of homemade bread. Our entrees were delicious and included salad, baked potato with generous dish of sour cream. Our waitress was (I'm assuming was the owner) was super. Friendly... More

The first time We ate at the Cider Press was over 40 years ago. I remember the food and the atmosphere as being quite welcoming. Last Sunday night was much the same.(Power outage Saturday night). I hate rating restaurants because mostly people who have a bad experience for one reason or another will always give the restaurant horrible reviews. I... More
