Overall we enjoyed our meal at this restaurant although the service was quite slow. We waited an hour for our dinner. But once the food arrived we were very happy with our meal. The food was fresh and well prepared.

The wait staff here is so rude that my jaw dropped. Everyone in our party of four was dumbfounded. The manager insulted us for sharing an entree between two people, even though the menu lists a $6 sharing charge for anyone not ordering an entree. We would have been happy to pay the six bucks without the snark.

We ate here last night - family of 5 - all had the freshest and most delicious meal. Can't beat this place for a low key, small, casual place with absolutely the BEST food!

We 4 had reservations at 6:30 on Thursday night. The dining area is very small so you must wait outside for table. We're seated in 10 minutes so not too bad but understand other reviews mentioning go for early reservations as tables get backed up later in night. Servers very pleasant and helpful. Only complaint is that the waitress who... More

This is great little place with delicious seafood. The decor is unpretentious and simple, and the owner and wait staff were friendly. We ate here twice during our week-long stay in LBI. On our first visit I had the flounder stuffed with fresh crab and it was my best meal all week. On our second visit I had the baked... More

Not a romantic atmosphere, in fact, it's a wood paneling and simple. Very clean and run by an owner serving and an owner cooking. Not our first visit here because the food is very consistently good. The fish dishes are done perfectly and with Viking village down the street, it doesn't get any fresher. Tips The earlier you go, the... More

This is undoubtedly the freshest seafood that I've had in recent years! The owner was absolutely delightful, and as she recommended different options, she was sure to let us know if any of the "components" were frozen (i.e. The shrimp). We had swordfish topped with lump crabmeat and flounder stuffed with crab. Both were over the top, and the salads,... More

Love that we ride our bikes to this family owned BYOB. Reasonably priced, great service. Decor is slightly dated but food is wonderful. Upon being seated you are served a basket of warm rolls along with a chilled relish tray....very old school but yummie. Menu is very large with lots to choose from. I had the fried shrimp with baked... More

The 18th St. Cafe is a wonderful and quaint seafood restaurant on LBI. Yes, they have meat entres such as rack of lamb and steak if you absolutely do not eat seafood.. but you should go there for the seafood, especially the locally caught scallops. It is a very small place so go early and you won't have to wait.... More
