Had some last minute out of town company- went to the restaurant. Lovely ambience until the hostess opened her mouth. Asked for a table for four- in a voice filled with disdain, "Do you have a reservation?" No we don't. Loooooooong pause- "Give me a minute." I mean, I am not in the middle of Manhattan, this is a neighborhood... More

You wouldn't be an 'average' Italian restaurant in this town and survive as long as this restaurant has. There's a reason why they've been a staple in Berkeley Heights -- The pizza is always wonderful. Great dinners in the restaurant -- fresh, quick, wonderful. My favorite is the chicken parm but my daughter has loved the penne vodka. I've also... More

Growing up in NJ/NY you come to expect to have he best pizza in the area but this place lacks taste and quality. There are better pizza joints not far from Berkeley heights.

Have been a loyal fan of Dimaio's for years. Visit a couple times per month and have never anything but delicious, innovative meals. Well worth a visit!

I grew up in Berkeley Heights back in the 60's and 70's. This restaurant was good back the. It is even better now. The pizza is amazing, as it always was. But what sets this restaurant apart from others is the atmosphere and quiet setting, along with great food. I highly recommend DiMaio's for their pizza, and their dinners.

We searched for a different Italian place, came across this gem. I don't need to leave a long review, food was very good, wife got the Lamb Ragu and I got the Pappardelle Francesca. BYOB is awesome, nice dim light setting. Gave you all the time you needed to sit eat and enjoy. Typical european style. They took a while... More

Nestled in a quiet storefront in Berkeley Heights, NJ, DiMaio’s very bucolic dining room has served the community for more than 30 years. The restaurant offers fine Italian cuisine that offers a rich array of meats, seafood and pasta. A nearby wine store is convenient for this BYOB, and the wait staff is well prepared with a cork screwer. Our... More
