we live up the hill from the Italian Village, although the bread is second to none, we have gotten stale cake and pastries many times, as some friends also have.
An old establishment bakery which originated in Newark, NJ. All types of Italian breads, pastries and pies. Also has an Italian Deli Deli with all types of Italian cold cuts, salad sandwich's and hot dish's. Large parking area.
So fun! we only tried the gelato but it was so fun. They've decked out the place in Italianate decor - we're talking fake grapes on arbors, renaissance style statues in the front, and a copy of Mantegna's ducal palace dome fresco on the ceiling....More
