Wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious food. Lobster was excellent and steak tender and flavorful. Our waitress Kat made our meal enjoyable and she was knowledgeable in many areas. She overheard that my wife's birthday was earlier in December and had a "Happy Birthday" message on our bananas foster dessert. Highly recommended.

Four people had dinner here recently. Service was attentive and worked with each diner to modify orders to suit our specific requests. All meals were delicious. This is not a tourist stop but a wonderful oasis at a tourist destination. It is also expensive but worth every penny.

We were staying near Cape May for the weekend and wanted to check out a new restaurant. Being the offseason many places were closed, but the Washington Inn was open and didn't disappoint. I had the Seafood Cioppino and recommend it to anyone who enjoys seafood. Great flavor and a great amount of different shrimp, clams, mussels, fish in the... More

Service, food and the sting was incredible. We had a party of 6 for New Years Eve. Sat by the fireplace. 4 of us had the rack of lamb which was phenomenal, 8 ribs cooked perfectly. The other 2 people had the tuna which they said was great. The appetizers and dessert were fabulous too. I had not been there... More

We started with amazing scallops well seasoned with tarragon and a great risotto. The octopus with purple potatoes was perfect. Same were the Key West Oysters. All was served with a variety of home baked bread. Great fish soup as an entree and grilled branzini. Weakest dish eas the lamp chank which needed a good sauce. Similarly great were the... More

I cannot say one negative thing about my meal and the meals of the others in my party, nor can I say a negative thing about the service we received, that was all excellent. The only thing that ruined our otherwise wonderful meal was a screaming baby that did not stop for nearly the entire 2 hours we were there.... More

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and found the experience thoroughly enjoyable. From the young man who valet parked our car, to the hostess to the bartender in the cocktail lounge, everyone was genuinely friendly. We had a cocktail while we waited for our table and enjoyed chatting with the young barkeep and other patrons. As for the food, we had... More

Beautiful restaurant wonderfully decorated for the Christmas season 🎄🎅🏽 One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Our waiter Ed was the nicest guy and very knowledgeable about the menu and the very extensive wine list 🍷 We will definitely dine here again ❤️

We had a very nice dinner this past Saturday. The restaurant was crushed with diners due to the town's Christmas festivities. The tiny foyer and small bar made the wait to be seated uncomfortable but once we were (seated), the night improved. The restaurant is beautiful with a nice menu and a surprisingly reasonable wine list. Service was clearly stretched... More
