We love the Lobster House and have been many times. I always recommend the Schooner. They fresh catch each day and it is just awesome! You cannot beat the views and the staff are just awesome!

We totally enjoyed our lunch, our waitress was pleasant & took care of every detail for us, the view is beautiful too even if you do not sit by the windows.

Older doesn't mean better. Nice atmosphere, but don't buy into the hype. The oyster "stew" was nothing more than watery broth with oysters tossed in. The lobster and fish were mediocre. My wife's steak was just ok. You can do better.

We arrived at the Lobster House with a "go straight to the hostess card", which enabled us to bypass the customers waiting for the tables. We were seated with a view of the harbor, which was amazing at sunset. I had the scallops and my wife had the butterflied shrimp. Both meals were excellent. Wait staff was quick and efficient.

My wife recently surprised me with a birthday lunch at which members of my family turned up at the Lobster House. It was great. I had the flounder, which was fantastic. Fresh, good portions, very good sides. Members of our party raved about the crabmeat-stuffed shrimp and the chicken. The service was attentive, friendly and professional and everyone loved the... Great food, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. We go down to our house in Cape May Point every weekend, all year long and have been dining at the LH for years. Whether it is Lobster in the main dining room, breakfast at the coffee shop, shrimp melts, clam bakes or clams and oysters at the Raw Bar, the food... More

I was born in south NJ. After my mother got sick we would take her to the Lobster House every week or so. We have never had a problem or a bad meal. Since mom passed we still make the ~200 mile round trip just to relax and have a great lunch.

Dinners have always been good at the Lobster House, but it is a great place for lunch, or a late lunch (early dinner). You get their great food with just a smaller portion & better price. Plus you skip the crowd & waiting line.

Wish I could write wow like some of the other reviews but the food was not good . Chowder was good, entrees were not very good , starting with cold shriveled baked potatoes , bland cole slaw. My wife always gets fried scallops hers looked like homefries and didn't taste good . Not a complainer but nice atmosphere , old... More

Last monday my wife visited the Lobster House early in the afternoon. I requested Cape May / Lobster House oysters for an appetizer. Cape may oysters were not available despite being on the menu. I was offered chesapeak oysters instead. They were skinny and there were shell pieces in the serving. I ordered oyster stew for lunch. The stew was... More
