Way too many tables and people. Not 25% occupancy. Tables too close together and placed in direct path of bathrooms and kitchen with people walking all over the area and some without masks. Food nothing great tonight. Service poor. Waiter never came to table to...see if we needed anything; had to ask busboy for more wine. Overall so disappointed.More

My husband and had a giftcard given to us for H2ocean and decided to enjoy a nice date night and also see what all the hype is about. The first indicator that maybe I should have rethought this was when I spent a day trying...to click on the "reserve here" button on their site and could not even get it to load. I ended up calling later that day and the girl told me they deactivated the online reservation system. Ok-well maybe you should take that down then so people aren't going nuts online thinking something is wrong with their computers. Regardless, we were able to get a reservation for a few nights later. We dressed a little nicer (dressy jeans, shirts etc) thinking this was a higher end establishment and when we got there right by the hostess stand was a lady (completely blitzed) in workout clothes. They had musical entertainment so she was yelling at the guy and singing loud and being a little obnoxious. Glad we did not sit by her. Hostess was very polite and sweet and our table was fully disinfected and wiped down before we sat. After that--things just were "ok" but not spectacular. This place is not cheap so this is why I felt they need to up the game. The menus had a hard time loading on the app( I have a new Iphone so it is not my device) and you needed 20/20 vision to read it it was so small. The server we had although polite seemed bothered in some way by our presence right away. I felt almost uncomfortable asking for anything. His vibe was just weird. I witnessed him speaking to his other table near us and he seemed like they were his better patrons. He was visibly kinder and friendlier to them and I even heard him making suggestions. He looked bothered when we took a while to look and pick drinks. I ordered an appetizer (ceviche) and it was not great. I picked at it. Little flavor. I've had ceviche in many places and this was not one of the better ones. The Lobster Bisque was fairly good. Would have been even better if I had bread offered with it. No bread was offered to us-I had to ask (and felt weird doing so with his odd half friendly vibe) and then the server shows up with hummus, olives and olive oil to accompany it. I was happy with this spread but felt we shouldn't have had to ask for something as simple as bread in such an establishment. We were also expecting to also receive meal suggestions. Never happened. The server (again polite but not overly friendly) came back and took the orders. Prior to that I attempted to order another appetizer the Salmon Tartare- the server told me they "Were out". I wanted to believe this but the other part of me wondered if he said that out of convenience of not having to put the order in. I guess we will never know. No other appetizer suggestion to replace that was given. Maybe he could have said " I'm sorry we are out of that but may I suggest. ...something else instead? Nope...nada. The food came out very fast. Almost too fast especially for my husband ordering meat. I ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the Short Rib. Both were good but again "Not great for the high price". The veggies around the salmon had little flavor. The Salmon had a pesto on it that was fairly good though so that I would say they did well. We did not bother with dessert. The most memorable part of this night was the live performer. I never not tip well so the server still got his tip but we both left feeling like it was very lackluster overall. I think us having the giftcard is what truly saved this night. Had we paid out of our own pockets that full bill I would have left even more annoyed than we already did. We will not be back.More

Had dinner here tonight, it was good but nothing special in the taste of the food. The restaurant was very nice looking and classy. It is definitely a nice place to go but the food is just good and nothing more. I had the octopus...for an appetizer and a baked wild seafood dish for dinner.More

We had a dinner party of 8 for my mom's 90th brithday celebration. One of my brother's and his wife who live in Vail, CO were there and have eaten at restaurants all over the world and our mom is from Belgium and is extremely...finicky., my nephew and his girlfriend live in NYC and also enjoyed every bite. Starting with the excellent raw oysters, fried calamari, muscles for appetizers everything was amazing including the house wines and cocktails. They then moved us to a round table for the 8 of us for dinner and it was much easier to have conversations and share meals which I have to say were outstanding. Definetly will be going back for some more incredieble entrees. Service was also amazing couldn't have picked a better restaurant to celebrate our mom's special night. Thank you so much to all of you.More

We sat at the bar because there was over an hour wait. Seafood was excellent. Menu changes daily with the fresh catches of the day.

First visit to this restaurant, for dinner. Food and service were good, but prices too high for what you get. Dinner for two consisting of one shared appetizer, our entrees, and one glass of wine each (no coffee or dessert) came to $134. Portions were...just adequate. Valet parking is apparently the only option.More

Food was excellent. We had few appetizers, crab meat, fried calamari and the tuna were our favorites. My shrimp and crab with pasta in tomato sauce was excellent. My fellow diners liked their salmon, steak and scallops as well. Service was a little slow, but...everyone was very nice. Loved the key lime pie, the melted chocolate filled donuts were surprisingly good and the mint gelato with brownies was also good. We were sharing desserts and the brownies were two large cookies with the gelato inbetween. The brownie cookies were a little hard. Overall, I recommend dining here.More

We had dinner with friends last night at H2Ocean. While seafood generally does not make my "top five" lists of cuisine, our dining experience was spectacular. We started out with the house made meatballs (I know, it's a seafood restaurant), served with house made pomadoro...sauce, burratta and pine nuts that were to die for. This was followed by a prosciutto and cheese dish with a honey glaze that was wonderful. Salads were fresh and tasty. My wife and I had day boat scallops that were as good as any we've ever eaten. Our friends had tuna and monkfish that they also loved. Our wonderful desserts were "Off the Hook S'mores" and deconstructed chocolate cannoli. We didn't try the raw bar, but we certainly will on our next visit. Service was first-rate, tables were well-spaced, wine list was varied and reasonably priced. We cant' wait to go back!More
