Welcoming Atmosphere

Had a wonderful dinner on Tuesday 11/12. We arrived around 5pm, without a reservation, and were promptly seated. I think that was lucky because by 6pm the restaurant was filling up quickly, so reservations are probably preferred. The ambiance is elegant but not stodgy. The lighting was great, not too dim, not too bright. Great and varied menu. Leans into a Mediterranean vibe with numerous fish choices as well as meat options. The server was great (I feel bad that I forgot her name and can't give her a shout out - very personable young black women) and shared her favorite menu items with us. In the end we all opted for the special, crab stuffed salmon over garlic mashed potatoes and haricots verts. The portion was enough that I had the leftovers last night for dinner. Too full for dessert. It would be fun to visit in the summer to experience their Tiki Bar outdoor area. If I am back in the Trenton area again, I will be sure to go back to Erini.

Fabulous dinner at Erini

We had a wonderful dinner at Erini’s. We customized our salads to include scallops and a crab cake. Our most gracious server, Magda, assured us the restaurant wanted us to be happy! And we were! You will be very happy if Magda takes care of you. Salads were delicious. I don't think i have ever been served a crab cake with so much crab meat. This was our first time there. We are traveling on bikes. The interior is elegant and they have outside space (with beautiful landscaping) if you are looking for a more lively evening. Enjoy, we did.

Our first time dining at Erini. We arrived early & had drinks at the bar while we waited for friends. Service at the bar was slow, we were practically ignored trying to get the bartenders' attention. I ordered the Marshmallow Old Fashioned. The waitress brought out the drinks sans marshmallows. I mentioned to the waitress that I expected to see marshmallows with the drink. The waitress said it does come marshmallows but she was too busy to add them to the drink. Apparently she thought about what she said & came back & asked if I wanted the marshmallows. I said yes. Luckily I got them as marshmallows really give the drink its marshmallow flavor. Our friends met us at the bar & we went to our table. The waiter placed tickets on the table. I asked what the tickets were for. Our friends, who dine at Erini frequently, had pre-reserved 2lb lobsters for our group. But first appetizers. We shared the fried calamari which was flavorful & cooked to perfection. DH had the creamy potato soup with bacon. saying it was good but nothing special. The whole Lobsters came out on a plate sandwiched between green beans & potatoes. The lobster was easy to open and was deliciously fantastic! Cooked perfectly so not to be too chewy or too mushy. Drawn butter was provided. The green beans had just the right Al dente snap. The potatoes were a little under cooked and starchy. We ended the night with carrot cake. It was flavorful but not as moist as we'd like. Overall the calamari & lobster were the stars of the night.

Spend your money somewhere else!

Don’t be fooled by the cool social media pictures. They hook you in with those and then the rest is downhill. We went last night as a party of 7 and our server was terrible! She never smiled, barely spoke, didn’t try in the slightest to make our experience a decent one. (Support staff on the other hand was pleasant) We were never asked if we’d like a refill, never asked how the meal was, and when it came to dessert.. she barely held up an iPad showing the dessert options on the screen and gave an extremely lame presentation of our options. 4 out of 7 of us got steaks and not one of us were impressed or really enjoyed it. Tough, stringy and ZERO flavor. The crab cake and crème brûlée were the only things I really enjoyed. You can get a better quality, better tasting steak at longhorn! If you’re gonna charge $56 for a steak it should be good! I guess since the restaurant automatically adds the 20% tip to the bill, there isn’t really any need to make the customers experience an enjoyable one. Almost $600 bill for a bad meal and terrible experience is the reason I took the time to write a review. It’s so true that if the service was great, you would probably be able to over look the bad steak but in this case both were BAD! Oh and the restaurant has a dress code posted on their website but they obviously don’t follow it as there were people there wearing football jerseys. It didn’t bother me in the least that people were wearing jerseys but if you’re gonna have a dress code, follow it. I made my teens dress according to the policy for an expensive waste of a night out. Save your money and go elsewhere for a night out!

Great service and exceptional food are our priorities, and we regret falling short during your visit. We were not alerted to any issues, food or service related on Saturday evening. We spoke to the server assigned to your table and she did let us know that she refilled your beverages on numerous occasions (Winter Fashions, waters, and offered to refill your diet soda but the soda refill was declined). Had a manager been alerted that you were not pleased we would have taken care of the issues immediately. We’re addressing your concerns with our management team to ensure improvements in both service and food quality. Regarding the dress code, we’ll review our policies to ensure consistency. While reviewing the footage from Saturday evening we checked all service areas. There was one guest in the building wearing a team jersey, but that guest was in the bar area, not the dining room. An experience we can't wait to repeat.

My wife and I have returned to Erini many times, and each time has been better than the last. This evening we came back just for a quiet evening to enjoy some time away for ourselves. The atmosphere and decor was very beautiful and relaxing to the eyes, and it was very cozy inside. Our server, Michelle, treated us like family while we enjoyed our meals. It started with fresh baked bread served with garlic and herb infused virgin olive oil... followed by our selections of lamb, French onion soup, seared tuna, beet salad with mango, tuna poke, and topped off with Creme Brulee and fresh coffee for dessert. The service was so good I felt compelled to ask for the manager just to complement the our server and the rest of the staff for our experience. When the weather turns nice again we'll go back to enjoy their outside space... which feels like a small getaway in and of itself.

Great app, lousy entrees

My husband and I went to Erini‘s for our anniversary. The setting outside is beautiful. The appetizer we got the shrimp and lobster spring roll was to die for. However, our dinners were very disappointing. My husband ordered a steak and wanted it done medium. It came out very well done. I ordered the baked stuffed shrimp. It also was so overly done that it was extremely dry and tasteless. Service was slow so we did not send them back because we did not want to have to wait for new food. We will never order dinner there again, but may go back just for drinks and the appetizer . All in all, a lot of money for the entrees to be so disappointing.

Had you alerted a manager we would have made an attempt to make the situation right. We would have either remade the items or would have removed them from the bill. First time dining at Erini and will definitely go back!!

What a wonderful fall evening spent dining at Erini. We sat outside on the patio to take advantage of the last few days of the beautiful fall weather. The patio was so beautifully landscaped and serene. The entire meal from appetizer to homemade desserts ( we had the carrot cake and cheesecake!)were fabulous!! Well worth the money!! Michelle was our server and she was wonderful! The entire staff was very attentive. They even started the patio heating lamps to take off the slight evening chill! Thank you Nick (owner) and Michelle for making our night so memorable! We cant wait to return!!

Lights and decorations are beautiful! Poached pear martini was great! Chicken parm was pretty good, seafood risotto was good but some was overcooked Pork chops were not good flavor at all, asked for med well bc I don’t like pink but all you could taste is the charcoal on outside, sweet potato as gratin was good! Dessert - cheesecake was great and moist ! Apple walnut cake was dry and not great! Carrot cake was mediocre Was there for 545 pm reservation and lots of tables open but for some reason it took long time to get a second drink and rushed to overcook things Disappointed this time

Great Food, Great Staff

We have eaten at Erini many times and cannot speak highly enough about the food, staff and valet service. We have recommended this restaurant to friends who concur. We had appetizers and a salad and the portions are so large we usually do not order an entree. Our server, Mike, was very congenial and attentive. He gets five stars. Would highly recommend Erini for outdoor dining. The following is not a huge issue but just an observation: the volume of the music throughout the restaurant needs to be lowered.

The service was impeccable, our server Mike was the Epitome of professionalism and knowledge . The food was delicious. Hats off to the chef!!! Definitely try the lobster and shrimp roll. The authentic style of food will leave you speechless!!!!!

Glad we decided to stop

Actually was initially drawn to go inside of this restaurant because of the beautiful décor outside. We were certainly glad we stopped. Not only was the atmosphere lovely but the food was delicious! My husband started out with the French Onion Soup. He said that it was very good and perfectly seasoned. I had Chicken Parmesan and I especially enjoyed the Mariana Sauce. My husband's Veal Parmesan was tender and not at all dry as often happens with Veal. I also have to give a shout out to our server Magdalena as she was very gracious and accommodating. I recommend trying the specialty cocktail Pomegranate Fizz. Also reservations are recommended as it often gets quite busy.

We went there just after the holidays set property was decorated with lights and there was a car parking service. Great first impression. The food was great I love to cook and I was taken back of the quality and taste of our meal. This was our first time so I asked our server what he recommended. I order the shrimp and lamb chops with scallops. Delicious. My wife started with the French onion soup amazing the soup had so much flavor and the quality of cheese was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing dinner and atmosphere

We chose Erini to celebrate our anniversary based largely on social media posts and pictures. We absolutely made the right decision as we were treated special from the moment we arrived, as I had mentioned in advance that it was a special occasion. Our sever Michelle went above and beyond with making us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. Both the apps and the main coursers were fantastic as we had the Grouper and the Stuffed Salmon. Dessert was also great but at that point we were beyond stuffed. I can’t forget to mention how great the new outdoor patio was. The landscaping was incredible and made the perfect backdrop to a great meal.

No Need to Hurry Back

Returned to Erini’s after a long absence & it will be awhile before I return again. Food was just ok, nothing making me want to return. I had an overly salty and sour Greek salad . Entree was 2 crab cakes that were too small for ordering only 1. Plenty of crab meat, however the mashed potatoes needed to be richer with butter. Dinner guest had octopus which was just ok with some being dry. Risotto was the main. Mussels did not taste fresh & clams were chewy. Carrot cake for dessert was very good. The faux pas of the evening was the service. Bread plates and appetizer dishes were never cleared from the table before the entrees arrived. The dirty plates sat on the table throughout the main course. When the dishes were finally cleared after eating the entrees, the little dish that had contained olives was overturned on an empty chair with olive oil spilling all over.

Best meal!

Celebrated husband’s birthday & sat outside in the garden. Large fans hidden in the foliage circulated the air on a warm summer day & made eating outside lovely. Umbrellas offered plenty of shade at each table. Great space between tables made you feel like you could chat without everyone hearing. We had the crab cake sandwich (came with fries or a salad) $26 & a mushroom,Swiss,frizzled onion chicken sandwich ($14) that was amazingly delicious. We each thought WE had the best sandwich. They were both yummy & came with a side and brioche bun. We will Be back. Brent was our waiter & we will ask for him again. He was helpful with suggestions on drinks and our meal. This place is a winner! Ready to go back. LOVE this place.
