Great little cafe on the river with character and great food! Must see and go try their fare. Great fresh food, inexpensive, fresh baked goods as well for the vegan, meat eater or gluten free diner.

Coffee, pastries and light fare. Swarmed with bicyclists on a nice day. A few steps from the Delaware River. Ample parking if you come by car.

The bean and pulled pork soup was amazing. So good we almost ordered another. The spinach cakes were delicious, far better than I expected. Firm, a bit crisp, and so... More

They don't really do a breakfast other than coffee and muffins and such. But lunch is a great menu. Nice spot, "charming and cute".

We visited Frenchtown and stopped by this cafe for lunch. The menu is small, but nice variety and several specials. We sat on the enclosed porch overlooking the Delaware River and bridge to Pennsylvania We tried the black Angus burger- $13 (comes with fries). Realized that the cheese was a dollar up charge when the bill came?? I hate that!... More

Great way to spend the day is biking or walking the canal paths along the Delaware river on the NJ, PA side or both. On a recent loop along the bike paths we stopped in Frenchtown for lunch at the Bridge Cafe. The Cafe is perfectly located right along the path and has a nice selection of sandwiches and salads... Awesome little place with view of the Delaware River. Service was great, attentive, and place was quaint. The food was really really really good...which I was pleasantly surprised. Went during the riverfest which was awesome itself.

Very pleasant atmosphere, good service, good food. Seating in enclosed porch or outside is nice. Stopped in after a bike ride on the D & R Canal path, very happy with the experience, will return.

Bridge cafe featured some unusual items on their menu. They do have an outside seating area. They also feature ice cream and desserts. Fun spot for a quick stop for an unusual meal. Sandwiches are very tasty.
