I was here for a bridal shower recently and then stayed for drinks after. The food was excellent and overall so was the service. My only complaint is that even at the bar area, if you're not ordering food, they will ask you to leave the table. We had been ordering drinks, but we were told we had to order... More

We were there on a recent Sunday for brunch. It's served buffet style and has a really nice assortment. I particularly liked the beet salad, roasted brussell sprouts and made to order omelet station. The glasses of mimosas and bloody marys were always kept full! Wait staff was friendly and professional. And the decor is charming. Prices are a little... More

Ho-Ho-Kus Inn is one of the best choices in Northern New Jersey for Sunday brunch, and an excellent choice for any meal. The ambiance is striking; it's in an 18th century landmark stone house. It is tastefully decorated, and the necessary modernization to make it acceptable in the 21st century does not intrude on its history. The brunch is prix... More

This was a very fine dinner including the food, ambience, service, pricing & valet parking. We sampled short ribs, steak frites, scallops, kale salad, Caesar salad, crab cakes, pumpkin cheesecake & homemade cookie platter with zero complaints. Definitely will return.

After about five meals here over this year the restaurant really deserves an excellent rating. The food has always been delicious and the service has been attentive and on point. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for, this not a saloon or chain. I have not had the burger yet from the bar menu... More

The sauerbraten was not sauerbraten, it was pot roast, lacking all the tang of the real thing. The wiener schnitzel was not wiener schnitzel, it was something else. And when the waiter got the order wrong for one of us, it took 20 minutes to get the correct order. The red cabbage was tasteless and I was served roast potatoes... More

This place has been around forever and the historic feel of the inside and the beauty of rooms reflects that old elegant charm. My husband and I had dinner in the one of the front rooms to the left when entering. Very elegant and quiet. We ordered the crab cake for an appetizer which was delicious. I chose the crab... More

I have dined at Ho Ho Kus Inn several times in the dining room, so this time I selected one of the tables in the bar (tavern). Here one can order from the regular menu or from a bar menu which features sandwiches, salads and soups. We ended up ordering a Zabriski burger, a salmon dish, and a lobster roll.... More

We hosted a baby shower in the "Crystal Room." From the first appointment with the catering manager, until we left the restaurant after the event, everything was excellent. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was elegant. I highly recommend Ho Ho Kus Inn for any private affair.

Thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy a meal. Service was great. Food was great. Pleasant outdoor dining. We had lunch. Valet parking available although we didn't need it. Will be back.

Thank GregLynn M
