Was taken to this restaurant by two very dear friends for brunch. When we first arrived the room we were seated In was very chilly (bar area). They did take care of the situation. An hour later due to a booking conflict we were asked to move to the second floor however we were also compensated for this move by... More

My wife and I went to the Ho Ho Kus Inn about a year ago with two other couples. The inn is quite charming with some history attached. We were seated quickly as we had a reservation. There are a few areas of seating and we sat in a rear room which was very comfortable. The service was fine and... More

We had a private room on the 2nd floor with about 16 family members. The staff was very attentive and brought us both the dinner and bar menus. The teens went for the bar appetizers and menu items and the adults steered more toward the dinner menu. The food from both menus was great! A definite repeat and very successful... More

This review has both great comments and not so great. My husband and I went here on a Friday night before Christmas, it was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was perfect. We had such a great time that when we were going to have a dinner out with my husband's siblings the Monday after Christmas we decided to... More

My company held our holiday party at the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn and Tavern in December of 2016. From day one, the event coordinator, Alena Bortolus, was helpful and responsive. On the day of the event, everything ran like clockwork. I received endless compliments from my co-workers on the the atmosphere, quality of service and the food and drink. I would recommend... More

We attended the holiday all-you-can-eat buffet, so the service was unimportant. The place was busy, with lines at the food bars. But the food itself was very good, with an extremely large selection. There was a surprise Christmas choir that was very pleasant. A most pleasant brunch.

I was here for a bridal shower recently and then stayed for drinks after. The food was excellent and overall so was the service. My only complaint is that even at the bar area, if you're not ordering food, they will ask you to leave the table. We had been ordering drinks, but we were told we had to order... More

We were there on a recent Sunday for brunch. It's served buffet style and has a really nice assortment. I particularly liked the beet salad, roasted brussell sprouts and made to order omelet station. The glasses of mimosas and bloody marys were always kept full! Wait staff was friendly and professional. And the decor is charming. Prices are a little... More

Ho-Ho-Kus Inn is one of the best choices in Northern New Jersey for Sunday brunch, and an excellent choice for any meal. The ambiance is striking; it's in an 18th century landmark stone house. It is tastefully decorated, and the necessary modernization to make it acceptable in the 21st century does not intrude on its history. The brunch is prix... More

This was a very fine dinner including the food, ambience, service, pricing & valet parking. We sampled short ribs, steak frites, scallops, kale salad, Caesar salad, crab cakes, pumpkin cheesecake & homemade cookie platter with zero complaints. Definitely will return.
