If you like authentic Mexican food. Go here. They have their 1st location in Red Bank. It's a bring your own bottle kind a restaurant. Saves you on an alcohol bill. Great specials. My favorite is the burrito with chicken. Everything you order here is great.

If I was just rating our meal it would be 6 stars if I could. The portions are large the quality is very good and the taste is excellent. The reason for the lower rating is this place has not been redecorated or spruced up since they opened many years ago. The table top was so sticky and dirty it... More

Food was authentic Mexican, and served hot, tasted good, but very much on the expensive side! Fine for families, but not particularly romantic. Difficult parking

I have been here several times. This is byob and I like that feature. The meals here are good to very good but I wouldn't call it great. The service is okay. I would return here because the place is consistently okay and it is a convenient location for me.

One lazy Sunday afternoon we went to Juanitos’ II Mexican restaurant in Howell, NJ. The restaurant is located on the busy corner of Route 9 South and Aldrich road. The front entrance for the restaurant is facing Route 9 and there is a separate entrance for takeout orders on the side of the building. The parking lot is small but... More

This is my go-to place for Mexican food. I've never dined in the restaurant but I get take out here a couple times a month. The chicken enchiladas are the best I've ever had and made with pulled chicken as opposed to diced. Get them with salsa arbol if you can handle the heat. The sauce on the jalapeño poppers... More

We shared the guacamole, prepared tableside. It was very good and fresh, as were the chips. If only the waiter hadn't thrown the dish so hard it almost slid across the table into my friend's lap. She had the burrito, and said it was very good. It came with rice and beans and portions were generous. I had two appetizers.... More

The food here is very fresh. Sadly my husband is not a fan of Mexican food, or I would get to go more often. The restaurant does not have the best parking, but is adequate for most nights. The staff is attentive. I love the fresh salsa they give as a starter with tortillas for free. it is very casual... More

I have eaten at Juanitos II numerous times over the years. I ordered a Fajita of Shrimp and Beef. (Only 2 shrimp). The Fajita was tasteless and the vegetables were hard (not cooked properly). The Fajita was very expensive for the lack of quality. My wife had a special that was OK, but over priced. What happened to Juanitos? I... More
