Very disappointed. I felt mistreated. The owner came quickly over when I was ordering without a menu. I think he was concerned I wouldn’t be able to pay for what I ordered. Other diners were given bread, I had to ask for some when I...chose the cheese plate for dessert. Surprising that it wouldn’t come with it. The food was mediocre. I enjoyed the fiddlehead ferns in my bison burger though. The greens in my salad tasted soapy. I will not be returning. I do not mind paying a premium for a premium experience. This was sub par. One positive note was the refilling of my water glass regularly.More

Fiddleheads is a wonderful restaurant with a charming atmosphere and terrific food. We started with the fantastic French Onion Soup and then had the Jambalaya and the Chicken Lyonnaise. Everything was great! There is a warning about the "heat level" of the Jambalaya, and it...was accurate. The dish is hot, but for anyone who enjoys a degree of heat (as I do), it was perfectly seasoned. The chicken was in a superb sauce and was perfectly cooked. The accompanying vegetables for both dishes were al dente and as fresh as can be. We were served a couple of baskets of nice crunchy rolls and flatbreads with a delicious, spiced hummus. The restaurant is a BYOB, and the servers are very accommodating about providing glasses and ice (if needed). Prices are very reasonable by today's standards. The owner and manager of the restaurant, Brian Blatz, is a delightful man with a great knowledge of food and the food industry. Be sure to say hello to him! My only regret is that we don't live closer. Otherwise, we would be there regularly!More

Came here for dinner while on a brief overnight trip and couldn't have been more pleased. Quaint place with nice décor. Service was excellent. The rolls, flatbread and hummus were great. My wife enjoyed the Angus burger and I thought the pork medallions with sizzling...garlic was excellent.More

Greatest BYO in the area. Brian and Dan don’t serve food, they serve cuisine. The Mussels appy are to die for. Enough for two. LA shrimp, Stir Fry and, try this, Blueberry Chicken? OMG. Quaint dining, like family. Make reservations. This is our special go...to for sure. Dave KrempeckiMore

We had a very pleasant dinner at this restaurant. Service was excellent. Decor is tasteful and casual. Bread and hummus was delicious. We loved the zucchini pancakes and blueberry yogurt soup. Tuna entree with risotto was tasty. Pork tenderloin was a little tough and overdone....Overall a nice experience.More

We celebrated 4 family birthdays ( including a 88 year old ) here tonight. We had a party of 12 accommodated with great service in the back room. This was the first restaurant night out in 2 years for some of our covid wary party....The food was excellent, and we enjoyed the privacy of the room. We were all comfortable and had a very special dinner!More

This place is divine! Such accommodating friendly staff and the food was perfection. I had the quiche of the day which was superb. The side salad, both fruit and green made for a hearty and delicious meal. They have a wonderful cappuccino.

OMG, ok foodies, wild fiddleheads availability has a very short window of opportunity… wild fiddleheads calamari style, Northern Exposure Pasta with spicy andouille sausage, wild fiddleheads, shrimp, Kiwi muscles, steeped in a broth of lemon, coconut milk, chicken stock, and bell peppers… Jamesburg, NJ, little...place I stumbled on during a local visit. Brian does a great job keeping this place running smoothly and takes extra care in assisting folks with mobility challenges when needed. Get those fiddleheads while you can.More

We have been going to Fiddleheads for dinner once a week since the pandemic. All safety precautions are followed. The food is so wonderful. I have been having the salmon and my husband the spicy shrimp. We feel as safe as when we are dining...at home. It is so refreshing to be able to get great food in a homey atmosphere. Come on out and feel almost normal!!!More

We went there with another couple to eat outdoors and enjoy the warm weather. We sat on the porch at the law office next store. The tomato soup was very good as was all the meals. The shrimp Louisiana, pork tenderloin, and zucchini cakes were...excellent. Definitely a must try when in the Burg.More
