Hamiltons definitely didn't disappoint. First, remember to bring your own wine. The wait staff will open it for your table but they don't sell any on site. I actually preferred this since you can have your favorites and aren't limited in your selection. We started with clams and some shrimp on a deviled egg. Both were very good. I had... More

Our first time at the highly-touted Hamilton Grill for a special birthday dinner. The service on this busy Saturday night was attentive but not fully engaged. Very cursory welcome from the maitre'd, the waiter did not offer to pour our wine (BYOB), and our bread service was overlooked. The fresh oysters for our appetizer were on the small side but... 10 of us had dinner here last night, and although food was decent, one person in our party got a fish bone lodged in her throat. After about 30 minutes, she successfully removed the 2-inch bone and was, thankfully, fine. The big disappointment was that the staff never said one word, such as, "are you OK? "Do you need emergency... More

Our b&b recommended this fine dining establishment. We enjoyed a cocktail across the street at The Boathouse and brought a nice bottle of wine into the restaurant. The ability to byob is nice. We shared the apple fennel slaw salad and enjoyed the Porterhouse steak for 2. It was good not great. The side of mashed potatoes was very tasty.... More

My husband and I had dinner at the restaurant recently and everything was perfect. The service was very nice attentive and our food was great. We had oysters raw and fried as an appetizer - delicious. As a main course I ordered the bay scallops and my husband had the rack of lamb, his favorite which he orders pretty much... More

We've been to this place several times over recent years. We really enjoy the ambiance and Lambertville. The food is typically well prepared. The service has been spotty. Last Saturday was a low spot for service. It took a while for the main course to come out. They brought me the wrong dish altogether. Our server disappeared for 10 to... More

We went for dinner last night, probably for the first time in 4 years we decided to go on a Saturday evening. We normally go during the weekdays, and we are always well received, and quite satisfied with our dinner and the service. Last night was disappointing, and I guess it started with deciding to order the rib eye steak... More

The food was well prepared and tastefully presented. We held a small business dinner and closed the place down. They were very gracious.

Wife and I started off with the Pumpkin Squash soup and the Rack of Lamb as our entrée.It was wonderful, a bit pink and very tender with just the right amount of Mashed Potatoes and crisp vegetables. A dessert to die for, Pumpkin Cheese Cake. It was a memorable evening and the perfect ambiance for an romantic evening. BYOB

We had a romantic dinner here last weekend for our anniversary. We enjoyed the specials including the Steak Diane and the service was great. We would definitely visit this restaurant again. Remember its a BYOB.
